I've never comp'd, only bashed, so how does this work?
do I just show up and run providing I meet all the requirements?
is there an entry fee?
As far as I know my rig, and myself, are not really comp worthy, but as long as I ducttape my left thumb down so it can't reach the rear steer stick could it run 2.2? I mean, it is on 2.2 wheels with 5.5" tall tires with an 11.5"wb and a full body. only the rear steer would DQ it but all I have to do is not use it, and since the left stick does rear steer and gear shift it should be easy enough to not use, but I don't know how *ahem* stringent the rules enforcers are.

It is a two hour drive, so this would be inmportant to know before setting off.

I don't think it will be an issue, we're pretty easy going."thumbsup"

Yeah, I won't complain if you don't use the rear steer. We don't have entry fees.

Sorry to hear that Joe.

Dezfan, sorry to hear that.Hope things go ok for ya.

I don't think a super will be needed, but a scaler would be cool to mess around with. Maybe we can take a run somewhere else outside too, as the weather will be very nice.

RHH is in charge of the ruleset we use, but the 08 rules will probably be in effect.

brushlessnut

scaler it is..hey If I brang the losi 8 think we could find some where to run it?

ROSS

we will be using the '08 rules, but will be leanit on them as not everyone has had a chance to read up..

lee bring the 2.2 and the scaler, and if you bring the 8, we do have a dirt track, but because of some nasty rain it isnt really drivable, but you could try anyways, might be fun..

also, JRH do you have a copy of the scoring sheets, Dez never got them to me, PM if you do, other wise i will just make something up...see you all tomorrow.

hey can I bring my tool box in? or will we need to leave everything the truck?

ROSS
02-08-2008, 11:32 PM
well considering that we will be in the store, i would say leave it in the truck until needed, then we can see...just depends on the crowd, because they still need to be able to run the business even with us there..

cool, nice to see my hooptie made the cut :-P

I guess you can't help but point out at the gates when you try it for a minute and a half and say the heck with it, I'm bored, and take a drop in front of the next gate
too much like golf.

If I get a more worthy rig together I may make it back out there to try again, and if you ever get to st. louis, we got a couple of good places up here to run too.
