We could, but I refuse to go down on a weekend. Did that once and it was retarded. We used to float that all the time when I was a kid, the Curtois River, before all of that. Always during the week on summer vacation, nice and quiet.

No canoing, but lots of rocks and trails but bring your hiking boots. Went camping there last spring and was kicking myself for not bringing a crawler, but it was a primative site, but I'm sure the have electric hookup.

I try to float the Jacks fork every year (tributary to current river) We go early in the year because the water level drops of in the spring. I sometimes float the current but definetly stay away from the weekends. The current on saturday in mid summer looks about like 270 north between Tesson Ferry Rd. and 44 at 7:30.:x I guess I need to bust out the Kayak!! I wonder if the crawler will fit in there?!
Yeah Nacho I really love the current and jacks fork. You can't beat that remote feeling and the springs and cliffs. I would be willing to float without the crawlers cause it looks like my normal crew is going to bail on me this summer.
