***Some nonsense about something that no one reads goes here***
***This is where I brag about how cool I am and how amazing my product is***
*************************Specs go here********************
We all know how most of these threads go. Big egos getting in the way of what is real, the product you are buying. Well, I started out with the 2.2 Beadlocks almost 2 years ago and now the REAL Erickson Beadlocks are back and better then ever. All that junk above will be filled out soon enough but how about what you guys really want?
*************************Price******************** *******
$39.99 a PairMSRP
Yes, that comes up to $79.98MSRP for a full set of (4) machined Delrin 2.2 beadlock wheels with 3003 aluminum lock rings and 3x10mm hardware. Bling is not my thing, a product that works at a price most anyone can afford is.
More to come about these wheels soon. Also, look for other Eritex Inc. products in the Vendors section on RCC.
Thanks for reading,

A inner and outer hexed rim would be cool, so you could run it with full positive or negative offset.....dual purpose rim.....wide for TLT, etc....and narrow for 2.2 clods."thumbsup"

Pictures are in the camera. When I get to the shop I will see if I can get them up as soon as possible. Also, please notice the "MSRP" next to all pricing.
As far as the other designs talked about, this is just the first of many products to come. I will be releasing them as soon as they are tested and ready for sale to the public.
Thanks for all the positive responses so far. I hope some of the guys that picked up some sets in K.C. post pictures up soon. <--HINT!!

Yes, but the prices and testing are not set and done on the AL ones yet. What kind of weight are you running? My Delrin ones are about 3 ounces a piece. I add anywhere from 3 to 4 ounces of lead for a grand total of 6 to 7 ounces per wheel.

Here's my Eritex (Erickson) Dirty Dozen BL's on my '08' comp rig.
Not a very good pic of the wheels, but it's all I have for now. I just mounted them Fri night before the 2.2 Indoor Midwest Challenge.
Easy to mount, and holds solid. I'll get some better pic's up later.

Hey Gerame! I don't know how I didn't see this thread (next time, tell me before you do this stuff, I already have pictures but didn't know where to post them)
I was lucky enough to be privy to one of the first sets of wheels out of the machine.
These things are SICK!!!!! And so far, have proven to be un-breakable!
My rig, however, has not.:roll:
here's a list of parts on the Gremlin (WK axles) I've bent/ broken so far in testing these wheels:
Bent:
One stub axle
One rear link
Broken:
An Axle C,
the upper tab off one of my 3racing piggyback shocks
bent an upper shock mount
Stripped spur
Oh, and my steering servo is nearly completely dead.
I have BEATEN THE LIVING SNOT out of these wheels. I geared it out for about 30mph and launched it repeatedly, I geared it back down and drug my daughter all over the yard in her wagon (she's 36 lbs.) And I crawled the crap out of it everywhere I could.
Never popped a bead, never slipped a tire, never spun a hex.
And they just keep coming back for more. "thumbsup"
I'll have pictures of mine to post up as soon as I go home for lunch.

With my newest order, I think I now own 6 pairs of these. I love the crap out of them and I won't buy anything else. I strayed once and I hated them. If you were going out of business tomorrow, I'd probably buy 5 more trucks worth so I wouldn't have to worry. They're just about the strongest parts on my trucks. :)
They also look pimp with the black and powdercoated rings. I don't have pics of the red bug body handy, but you can see the ring here. Have a look at some of the others too.

I picked these up used and there were rumors you might have made them.Did you ever build wheels with an angled bead? I recut these to a normal O-ring type bead and they work great! I love the flat face inside.Have you considered drilling and tapping a bolt circle to add weights? you could make different thickness of wieghts that would allow you to change the weight of your tire and wheel combo without taking off your tires and adding lead"thumbsup".http://img2.putfile.com/thumb/2/4821335899.jpg (http://www.putfile.com/pic/7698475)

Yes, you have some REALLY old school Erickson beadlocks. Those are Gen1 .
For the weight idea, Freetimecrawler and I were talking about that not more then 2 weeks ago. Getting the weights made as we speak. Troy had the idea at Moab 2 years ago and I am setting it up as an option.

Here's a couple pics of mine. Mine are proto-types using some old rings he had left over, so I don't have the ultra-snazzy new ones.

http://img2.putfile.com/thumb/2/5420172120.jpg (http://www.putfile.com/pic/7734856) They still work great ! I did narrow them to 1 inch, and like I said I recut the bead to look like an O-ring groove. I'd have all 4 on but the center is busted on 1 of them. That's what gave me the weight idea was to use 2 discs bolted thru the wheel to hold the hex in. I was going to use Tungston for the weights so they would be small and heavhttp://img2.putfile.com/thumb/2/3609092274.jpg (http://www.putfile.com/pic/7625834)y. You need 2 pairs of wheels to make 1 set of 4 wheels.

How wide are these wheels? I'd be interested if they come in a narrow width similar to the prolines. I'm running tlt axles still and have always narrowed my wheels on the inside for better clearance in steering.

I just couldn't live with a blank rim though, so I played with a few design ideas in MasterCam after I ordered them. After I punched out from work, I started cutting a jig to hole the wheels in the CNC router. After getting the jig dialed in, I started cutting the wheels. They went pretty quick, and I am pleased with the results.

I got mine yesterday too. I got a set of the dirty dozen, so no need to cut out my own design.:flipoff:(those do look good Mike). Of course I had to go with the stainless bolts. Oh, and did you know he sells weights too.

1.25" wide rim, and look how tight that ring gets. Only 1mm between the ring and the rim."thumbsup"

And the Clod guys, yes. That is the reason the rear ring looks like this....

The rear ring (the one further back in the shot) is designed to keep from rubbing on steering arms and knuckles.
Keep the questions up, I am noting every one and am looking at doing as much as I can."thumbsup"
Plenty of space for the stock clod knuckle. (for those that still run clod axles)

Mike, that design looks awesome, it really looks fantastic.
Kevin, that is pretty sad that a sponsored guy get pictures of products up before the manufacturer does. This weekend is going to be photo-shoot time at Eritex.
Also, the Comp Heavies. The are done and ready for sale. Once again, I have 80+ wheels done and not one picture taken:lol:. I need a photographer on staff to keep up with me. The one I have now is slacking.
P.S.
If my current photographer (my lovely wife Kara) is reading this, just kidding :mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgr een::mrgreen::mrgreen:

Thanks Gerame, I am happy with how they turned out. Now I just need to get some badland tires to try on these....
Kevin finally picked up a digital camera after I let him barrow my new point and shoot for the indoor comp. He fell in love with it, and now he is a picture taking whore

I am getting close, still getting Comp Heavy stock up to where I need it. 5 spokes are next in the machine, Free weights, then adjustable offsets.

Just got my wheels today, and they are sweet, Heavies for the front and Solids for the rear. Also, just thought I'd mention, for those running RCP TLT CVD's, you'll need to drill out the center whole to fit on the CVD stub shaft.

You also ordered with a check that had to be mailed and then clear before the wheels shipped.

Just curious how much offset do your standard wheels have? How are they offset compared to stock Axial beadlocks? Will they make the truck wider or narrower comparatively?

mounted up my wheels today on AX-10 axles with the RCP aluminum knuckles but they don't clear ,the inside ring and beadlock screws hit the knuckles. Has anyone had this problem ? would you think it would weaken the knuckle if i ground a little off ?...or do these just not work with the aluminum knuckle ? has anyone found a way to widen the track about a 1/4" or so on the Ax-10 axles yet ?? Thanks for any help or suggestions ,cause i really like these wheels and want to use them..apprciate the help guys

After seeing the pictures, I would "massage" the knuckle. It looks like it is just touching so not much will be needed. And as far as weakening the knuckle, .050" off an AL knuckle is still 10 times stronger then the stock knuckle.
This is a problem with multiple after market parts, some times they meet in the middle:lol:.

Doesnt really matter to me, i just would like one closer to 0 offset then the super offset ones you offer now. I just really need some new wheels and tires. Ive had the same ones for a year and a half, they are bald. the hexes have been epoxied in maybe 5 times, and still come out. hexes are now stripped on 2 of the wheels.

Okay guys and gals, the first batch of "Competition Heavies" came out of the mill about an hour ago. While they were running, I threw this design in MasterCAM to get started on them....
http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a353/ShyGecko/split5spoke.jpg
I am calling them the "Split 5 Spoke". Price on these might be a touch higher (a couple bucks) then the first 3 designs. I need to check machine time to verify.

As a suggestion, I'd help me out if the weights were posted up on your site. I'm thinking about picking a set up, but am not sure if the heavies are meaty enough to run on the rear of my rig without weights. I'd love to be able to compare them to my current setup, but haven't been able to find the info.

Right on, thanks! I'm surprised that the comp heavies are so close in weight to the solids. I don't suppose you know the weight of the stock axial wheels? I searched the site but couldn't find it.
