gotta find some new tires - i bought the slingers just to, well, bash around in mud. once i find some good rock crawling tires, though, i'll be in.

hey, thanks man. i got the stealth from junfac.com - and it handles much like my clod super did. turning radius isn't all that great - i need to see if other clod aluminum knucks will fit, to help the steering. plus i need to stretch it out with some custom delrin links. big suckers, like jeepfreek's gopher. Yeah, I got that wired up today with the help of saul and jutgoingslow and it took like 30 seconds to strip the servo arm! What a pisser! Did get to run it without front steering, just rear, had some good points.

How does it do with the really odd break over from the lower links? To me it looks like their extreme angle is gonna get you caught up alot.

What kind of servo arm you runnin that it stripped out, plastic? I've never stripped an arm out once I stopped using junk ofna universal aluminum arms with the plastic inserts. Now all I run is dynamite or hitec solid aluminum arms. I've bent a few, but haven't broken one yet...

Neil, did you get a new servo horn? And to answer Jake's question It's to early to tell (more testing). But what I can see It's going to run with the best of them.

Stoped and got a servo horn, came home and tried to test and tune and stripped the other on the rear! They were Dynamite all aluminum 1/2 horns I got from RC slot, I think. The new one was from Losi and I almost couldn't find a screw to put in it? It uses some course thread crap I havn't seen before, luckily I had 1 and no more.

As far as the links go.... No way they will hit anything, there almost 5 inches from the ground! I might have some redesign on the link setup but it's not going to be easy. This Gopher might not have been such a cool idea, oh well, I can always use it to upgrade Nick's AX.

Prolly a good move"thumbsup"
(I love RC4WD, but was never sold on their rockbull chassis, there's a lot nicer out there for the money. By nicer, I mean more performance oriented).
