I'm just about finished with my new R/C shop located at 90th and France in Bloomington. Just wondering if there is any interest in an "open shop night"?
If anyone is interested post up here. The shop has most everything needed for working on Rc's, brazing, welding, soldering, painting, cutting etc.
If there is any interest? We can make the shop open just about any night of the week, it's located just a few minutes from my place, I can run over about any time. Yes Storm and Jack, it's fully wheelchair accessible "thumbsup"
I will also have a decent pile of rocks located just outside the shop for a test area, and I have plans for building an indoor test/crawling area as well.

Yes, I am in to point and laugh. I will definately be able to bring a few rigs and some portable crawling boards I made."thumbsup" Troy I got your number. With this new snow, I gotta run the Stampede again:twisted:. Oh yeah the new Emaxx loves the snow too!

Congrats Troy! Let me know when you get a lathe and a mill!

If you're young enough to pull a all nighter here and there i'd be up for a road trip here and there I'd even supply the malted adult beverages "thumbsup"

Be good place to start #3 project ;-) But only if Kev keeps the French maid outfit put away! :flipoff:

I have a crude mill, it's called a drill press ;-) Eventually I'd like to get some kind of lathe/milling machine, but for now, my sponsor Eritex has a CNC if I need things done, I'll go to Gerame "thumbsup"
As for all nighters, just about any Fri-Sat is fine for me. Anytime, anyone needs some space to work, extra tools, or some help, just post up here. The shop is always open to anyone/everyone.

Unfortunately for you Joe, since you live "up North" its a ways, the shop is at 90th and France Ave So. in Bloomington.

I'm open to most any night that works for others. People just need to post up.
The shop is 3 miles from my place, literally less then 5 minutes for me.
I'll probably be over there Fri night, and most of Sat this week, but can go over pretty much anytime.

I normally work 9-5, but I can quit early most anytime. I work where the shop is at 90th and France. I'm also there Saturdays most of the day. I'd be happy to help you with your truck.

I'll be at the shop doing some bumper, rock slider brazing, and test course building much of the day tomorrow (Sun). It's supposed to be a beautiful day.
If anyone has anything to work on, or just wants to swing by and shoot the shit? Just post up here.

I'm heading over now to work again.
I'll probably be there from 10:30am to 2:30-3:00
Same goes as always, give me a ring if interested in stopping by, or if you have something to work on? bring it.

One of these days, I'm going to start on my outdoor test course,(rock hauling party) and finalize plans for my indoor course.

I'll be heading to the shop about 10am this morning to start work on a new chassis.
I'll probably be there most of the day, 10am-3/4pm or so, if anyone has anything to work on, or just wants to shoot the bull, feel free to stop on by.

Started on a new chassis for a scaler, and ran out of wire for the wire feed. I had to run and get some, and while I was out, I figured I'd stop home and sign up for the "Battle Grounds" 2.2 Ohio comp, since registration is now open, and I don't wanna miss out.

I'm going to catch a quick bite to eat, then head back to the shop to continue work on the chassis.
I'll probably be over there a few more hours tonight. Bring some Miller High Life if you plan on stopping by :)
