Just tonight, I have installed my hammers on one set of beadlocks, installed memory foams on one of my sets of badlands, and still have to install memory foams on my moabs. I am SOOOOO sick of these little screws!!!!!

And I still need to do something with the foams in my Rock Claws, and even worse, I need to get my Moab 40's off of the axial beadlocks so I can cut the foams and put them on the jp 1/2 ups...

Which beadlocks do you have?

I've got both the axials and the prolines. Tonight has been a battle with the axials. Both sets of my prolines are such pieces of junk that I don't dare dismount and remount tires on them. 6 out of 8 (proline) rims came with stripped bolt holes from the factory. Very disappointing

Sorry to hear about your bad luck.

you should invest in some quality beadlocks. Aluminum ones typically don't even need all the screws installed in order to hold the bead tight. I like the VF stalkers and Assasins.

The Ericksons are KILLER! I have a set and the only way that tire is coming off the rim is if you rip the sidewalls completely off the beads.

And you'll break axles before the hexes will spin.

Normally I'd agree, but I like to have different tires to try for different terrains, and there is no way I can afford five different sets of high quality aluminum beadlocks, the reality of it is that now I won't really need to take tires off much more (until I decide to weight the tires), and I now have:

Hammers with memory foams
Moabs with memory foams
Badlands with memory foams
Badlands with regular foams
Masher 2k's with regular foams
Losi's with regular foams
Rock Lizards with regular foams

all on their own rims. Me being me, I might want to run any of these at any time, and I won't want to have to take one set off the rims to run another...Beadlocks for me really just give me the ability to fine tune how I have the tire setup.;-)

Erickson, heavy comps are where it's at. They make awesome wheels, aluminum wheels are just to pretty to just get scatched up on rocks.
