This is what I have been working on this week, some new offsets...

This is the wide offset. It has a .250" wider offset compared to the standard wheels.....

I have the "Solid" and "Comp Heavy" programs done, "Dirty Dozen" is being tested in the morning.

Next up, the Clod offset. I am finishing up the program tonight and running test wheels in the morning also. All of these wheels plus 1.9's will be available very soon (like within a week)

Think of my 2.2' only smaller and narrower. Does that help:lol:

Any thoughts on a 40 series rim? Preferably zero offset...

Ya, looked into it. Still trying to find a way and a design that will be cost effective.

Exactly what I've been waiting for. How about something similar to the Mayhem double phatty ball bearing wheel?

I don't think that is a good idea.

Two reasons for a no.

1. I don't like the idea of weight that moves. Having the ball move inside the wheel may lower the COG by fractions of an inch, but it can also upset the balance if the rig on a steep grade, high wheel speed maneuver.

2. I don't copy others designs.

Thanks for the input though, I am working on a weighted wheel that the weight doesn't "slosh" around.

Too bad some others don't go by this unwritten rule!

But everyone's copied yours:lol:. Don't get me wrong, I wasn't suggesting that you copy another design, just something that made adjusting weight possible. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with.

You are correct, I have been working on the "Free Weights" since the midWest comp. I had a lot of great input from Troy and am getting the kinks worked out.

Oh, I forgot. I got the Clod offset done today. fits stock hex's and knuckles with only a minor amount of Dremel work (less then 45 seconds per knuckle). Over all width with lock rings is about 1/8 of an inch less then from outer stub axle to outer stub axle.

I will post pictures in the morning ;-)

I want to know exactly what the backspacing is. Distance from the bottom of the hex to the back of the wheel. It sounds like the clod offset is gonna be too deep for WK/OCM axles. Any more than about 3/4" is too much for that stuff. I'll take a set or two if they're like the mayhem clod offset wheels though.

Is that in reference to the Clod Offsets? If so, I have about 4 sets done and am testing one on my 2.2 Clod.

But ya, I forgot to post the pictures and the camera is sitting on the tool box at the shop, so no pictures tonight:lol:.

A little late, but better late then never. These will be available next week or sooner.

One more thing, I forgot to take a picture of it but from outer ring to outer ring is only 10 15/16 inches.

IMO that's too much offset. Call me crazy, but I want the face of the rim to be flush with the outside of the ring.

For people who want to use stock knuckles and stub axles, this is about a narrow as you can go. The stub axle already sticks out 1/16th of an inch past the outer face of the ring.

Should I go ahead pay for the 2.2's or wait and make one payment for both those and the 1.9's? I'm good either way, just checking to see what you prefer.
