There is acually a good place to crawl right up the street from the shipyard. Its called huntington beach and there are plenty of rocks right next to the boat ramp to crawl on. It is at the foot of the james river bridge on the newport news side.

Might head out there this weekend.

Went out on Saturday and the tide was really high.

So as long as the tide isn't extremely high we may be out there Sat.

Northrop is actually Northrop Grumman. It is a shipyard on the James River in Newport News. The place we like to crawl is at the foot of the james river bridge on the left (Newport News side). It is called Huntington Park and over by the boat dock on the right there is a little beach that has some good rocks to play on. Me and trailduster79 go out on the weekends (or try to) and take some tennis balls out there and set up some coarses. Its not very big but its fun and the sand ads another element of difficulty."thumbsup"

oh ok, i know the ship yard your talking about. i've never heard it called a certain name though. i've always simply known it as the ship yard.

Northrop Grummin isnt just that shipyard though, its all across the US. Its a rather gigantic aerospace and defence company. Some of you may know of Regans Star Wars project, Northrop was in charge of that. If you want to know more just look it up on google"thumbsup"
