was about 100 miles from home and blew a tire on the trailer... it destroyed the inner fender well, some of the bed/couch and sucked out a few things like wood, clothes, the Tx for my RC tank... Funny thing is i thought i saw some debris fly off that tire in the mirror and stopped. Looked at the tire and didn't see anything wrong, started driving again up to 70mph and KABLAM!!! Took about an 1hr to scavenge enough screws to patch the hole with the slide out bed board, and change the tire... Unfortunately the Tx didn't make it:-( Enjoy"thumbsup"

That tire looks just awful how did it get so bald?

all the tread FLEW OFF, causing the damage. I would NEVER run a tire that looked like that. The tire did not deflate, only the tread came off. Note to self: Old tires should be inspected more closely for cracks and not run at high-speeds (70-80mph)

trailer tires seem to do that at around 70-80 on a long trip. I swear everytime we go to a race we blow a tire on the trailer.
good to see you are OK sucks about the damage to the trailer though.

Good thing you are okay and didn't take anybody out. Trailers do funny things even with out having flat tires.

That wasn't a rock that chipped the windshield, it was one of those Montana mosquitos

We had a bird bounce off our windshield and fly about 50 ft in the air. It came down several seconds later, dead as Badger's sex life.
Now that you mention it, could have been one of those gamma radiation affected Montana mosquitoes.:lol:
