Has anyone tried these links yet?

I just ordered them yesterday. I hope I can get them by the week-end, because we are planning on doing a little crawling Sunday.

only down fall is that they were designed to be used on a stock wk chassis to give it 12.5" if you use them on a different cahssis that dose not have the same mounting holes you could end up too long or too short i had that problem with the strc extender kit. They look nice though"thumbsup"

Haven't tried them...but FYI, that kit is actually the RC4WD kit shown here.

Same stuff...but you can buy it directly from the manufacturer if you want "thumbsup"

I am using the WK chassis. I had made my own links out of threaded rod. 4-40 to extend the single mount upper link. But I kept on breaking it. Then I was going to make a 4 link out of 8-32 like my bottom links, then I seen the kit. So I figured I'd give it a try. Should be here today, or tomorrow according to USPS's web site.

The problem I see with the kit is that is extends the front & rear the same amount. I'd much rather have the back longer so the COG is pushed forward.

Did you notice that the stock WB on the WK is 9.4" and the rc4wd ext wb kit "says" it adds 88mm/3.46 to your wheelbase ?... If I do my math correctly... thats 12.86"... might be a misprint ;-) or i could be hook on phonix and not know how to read... or spell at that"thumbsup"

I measured the axles before I put the tires on. 14" WB. There isn't any comps around here, so it's ok for now.

i used that kit and i hated it, mine flexes like ill crap. i dont know if its mounted all wrong or what, but mine really sucks. my front axle BARELY hits 45 degrees. i plan on re-building it with a different chassis and custom links.
