Both our rigs run the shocks upright next to the springs (no levers) DeanO runs stock shocks while I run the Pro-line dampers (the ones they used to make for the T-maxx awhile back) we both have FlatIrons mounted on Pro-line beadlocks, and all the lights work on mine. Thats it for mods

Here's a few of mine. Just built. All stock accept stabilzers removed and steering knuckles dremeled a little for more turn radius . Mamba maxx with a 55t brushed motor. CC bec w/airtronics servo. Body is cool but I'll replace it soon with something more scale looking.

I have some RC4WD alloy wheels and Tamiya carbon decks, but too lazy to install them now! :-P All alloy except axels, I like the black against silver. Junfac skids and 90mm shocks - much better than stock setup, very stable and can handle jumps easily. Speed 11t brushless motor with stock pinion, great crawling power, and enough speed to have fun on a trail.

Unimog is most stock, only more weight in the wheels and two standart servo in front and rear (2 CH so I use a Y-Cord).

I bought the cr-01 land cruiser and put a bronco body on it and painted it like a old school one. put the novak 55t and the rooster esc and took out the contorson arm to get more flex. and put the axial rims on it with the mudslingers. tell me wat you think.

Heres my new CR01. Purchased the Land Cruiser at a rather cheap price.

The body is still away getting painted, should have that back next week and then ill fit the LED light kit to it.

So far, i have done away with the cantilevers (were limiting my articulation too much and didnt like the slack in them). Still running factory shocks and springs for now.

Running a crappy futuba servo, which is WAAAY to weak for this purpose, so i have a traxxas waterproof high torque on its way.

My CR01 still in completely stock form, with cantilevers, posing after it drove over my old TT01.

I know many people have issues with 3Racing, but it is easy for me to get these parts over other manufacturers. I've am waiting for 1.9 Pyhtons and Rock Crushers from RC4WD... Hope you like. This truck is probably my most favorite rig just because of all the time I spent wrenching on it. But don't get me wrong, my AX10 Alpha Male is still the Alpha Male in the collection.

3Racing parts (aluminums, leds, winch, li-po) out the wazoo, Tekin FX-R & 55T combo, Spektrum SR3001 rx, Integy F-350 wheels, Tamiya Rock Cruiser tires, HiTec 645MG servo, and Nikko FJ Cruiser body with added lightbar off another Nikko body.

This is my first R/C since I was a youngin' and I've never been into trucks, just those cheap german boxes ;-) This isht is a blast though!

Mine is box stock, save for the Tamiya alum servo mount up front. Has a 2400 something-something battery, HiTec Aggressor radio, Traxxas waterproof hi-torque servo and a Novak Goat. Also made a water resistant craft case to hold the electronics.

I'll admit that I don't know what I'm doing when there isn't pavement under me, so the LC body is for practice before I get the Mog. Don't want to modify too much, but I'm going to run soft sway bars, mod the steering or go with AWS and waterproof it so I can bash puddles and snow too. Also a crap ton of the aluminum/steel hop-ups.

Can't easily see the lights as its a sunny day, but the headlights, rears and roof lights all work (connected to a spare TLU-01 I had)

Took a while to get the winch mounted. Currently using some fairly thin aluminium in a simple 'L' angle, mounted to the front cross member. Had to trim down the front body a little, but its there for now. Manual control only (3rd channel is being used for 4ws), and have the button under the winch mount.

Set up for 4ws, using the switch on my Spektrum DX3 for direct control of the rears, not using it permanently mixed with the steering just yet.

For the specs:

- stock Tamiya motor
- Novak Rooster Crawler ESC
- Castle BEC
- 2x Hitec 645MG servos (4ws)
- spektrum sr300 3ch receiver
- Spektrum DX3 tx
- TLU-01 light kit + 6 additional white lights for the light bar
- proline light bar, roofrack and a couple of accessories
- 3racing winch with manual control for now.
- Proline Flatiron tyres with memory foam (on standard Tamiya wheels). some weight in the fronts (approx two wraps of stick on weights), none in the rear.

Here it's sporting the Radio Shack Hummer/Truck.......and several different shock combos I've tried on it. I ended up using the stock Highlift shocks with the stock coils and it works really good like that.

I'm thinking about painting up the Axial CF 100 body...it might look cool on the CR01. I'd also like to build either a Unimog or a Tamiya Bronco body for it as well.

This rig is fun with just a few minor suspension mods.....and then add the Rok Lox for traction and clearance .....
