Is there any templates or people's home creations that allow you to mount the battery on to the axle? it can be any battery but mostly the saddle packs. pics would be great"thumbsup"

thank you sean and leeroy but can you (leeroy) gets some close ups on the mount and how you made it? this what I was hoping for, not much on the wheely king for mounting battery's without having to buy a servo mount, maybe some vendors should start trying to produce battery mount for the wheely king

I couldn't access my Photobucket last night so I was not able to post some pictures:

First I made new shock/link mounts:

Then I made two battery mounts that fit onto the top of the shock/link mounts:

The battery cells are held on with cable ties. These are sub c cells:

You could also try making this battery/servo mount. Its a design I came up with a number of months ago and served me well. I call it the Hammerhead (see the last image below)

C cells??? They must make for one huge pack. My sub c's just barely fit on the axle so I can imagine how tight it must be with the c's. My pack is 4500 mAh so I'm pretty happy with the capacity/runtime.
