At the advice of a friend I picked up some abrasive belts that go on my 4x36" belt sander...work great.

Those work awesome. I had some that fit a die grinder and they work great for removing anodizing as well.

I would look into LINE-X liner, it goes on thinner and is more scratch resistant, and has a more even texture than rhino lining.Better yet find some place that does industrial coating and see if the can coat it with TiN coating, kinda like the gold carbide inserts, it becomes one with the metal and will not scratch off,the downside is the chassis will be a bright gold color.

The company we use is called
Gold Star,
1580 Progress Drive
Richmond In 47374,
765-935-7424,
I know for a fact that they have other coatings as well that don't have the gold color, give them a call and see if they can help you out, if they can give us info on prices and such.
