Wanted to share my build with ya all.
<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
You will find some of the well thought out ideas from previous builds incorporated into mine. Some with a few changes to work with my rig.
I figure if it works, why try to reinvent the wheel right?

Kamikaze Kustoms ZERO Chassis
JR 8711 Servo
HH Pro Hand Wound 45t motors
Losi Shocks
Tekin FX ESC
Hitec HS-65MG Micro Servo
2 RadioShack Submini switches (275-017A)
1320 3S Lipo
Nomadio Receiver
Mayhem Berg Spider Wheels with Custom Rings
Panthers
Nwtractech Foams
Started off with clocking the front axles.

Electronics.
I fabbed up some skidplates using 2 3\16 X 2 1\16 Delrin.
Once I put the chassis and skid plates together I was like, "So where the hell am I gonna put the electronics??" he he
I know there was alot of questions on the front/rear dig wiring set up. I sure did.
I hope these close up shots will help answer some of the questions people have been asking. http://smregal.com/rc%20crawler/DSC01183-1000.jpg

Due to the limited space I thought it would be appropriate to use the new Tekin FX for this build.
It fits so nice in the chassis.

Making it slippery. he he
Although there is more clearance with these axles then your typical tlt, Axial, etc., aluminum
sucks when it contacts rock. So I went Teflon crazy on the bottom side of the axles.

A few more items still need to be added. I'll update when they are installed.

Wow, that is nice, I have ordered the Berg and the Zero chassis .. lots of great ideas on this build !!
I do like how you mount the battery and the dig .. and good call on the teflon for the bottom, let us know if it holds
----
Ok, I am a nitro guy, so pardon the stupid question but .. how do you power the nomadio receiver ?

Power is supplied through the Speed Control.

Looks great!, Very clean build "thumbsup"
May i ask why the dig switches instead of running dual speed controllers with the 4ch? Easier? No real benefit from being able to set the rear for a percent of power compared to the front?

I considered the dual speed controllers but didn't see any real advantages.
Dig switches does the same thing.
Cost for building the dig. $32
You can also adjust rear speed with different pinion gears.
Cost $8
Space was a huge factor as I wanted to minimize as much as I could.
So total cost could run you about $40+ as opposed to another $100 or so for another speed controller and you would have to find another spot to put the darn thing.

That's what i thought, trying to eliminate rebuilding before i even start the build
Thanks for the info "thumbsup"
Heya Mike. I've been working on my WARCRC comeback build. I just finished clocking my axles. I did a cruddy job cus I suck at Fab but, good enough..
I have an order of Mayhem wheels coming in today or so as well. I was hoping to come back and see no one in WARCRC running berg axles yet:x. Guess I wasn't fast enough..I heard Tanis has a set as well.
Looking good!"thumbsup"

Hey Tom. Glad to hear your making a come back.
If you make the next comp, you may very well be the first to comp locally.
I wish I could run a local comp before Donner but it doesn't look that way.
That Nathan is soo sneaky!!
Chime up Nate!!!

Thanks Bonus. Your thread is one I followed during the build process as well.
The Teflon sheet is by Team Associated. They called their Chassis Protective Sheet. I'm told they come in different thinkness.
The part #9787 is perfect for molding around tight corners.

Nice build!!! What links are you running? The lowers look like stock links with revo ends, did you redrill and tap the lowers for 4mm?

ok, but does the ESC not pass the same voltage as the battery ? so if you using a 3 cell lipo, that would be 11.1v ?

Most speedos have a voltage regulator built in to step the voltage down for the reciever.

have you found any problems in running the losi shocks with it (100mm) .. as kamikaze advises 90mm shocks for this chassis ?

No problems with the Losi's. There about the smoothest running shocks that I've run.

Nice job .
Just starting mine
Can I ask why you redrilled the tubes for clocking and not the tranny :?:
thnks
binaryterror

Tube material is vastly thicker and easier to hold up the the clocking changes than more holes in a very thin wall case.
