Norm idk, after having this c7T in my new 2.2 its so hard to get into another brushed motor. JPC's 35T Warriors looks promising though. 7v - 15.9T? I guess ide just have to see em up close or some video. I might just you tube it. I really like the tourqe of those HH crawlmaster @ 1kv but a fx-r w/ cc bec and a hh c7t is such a deadly combo imo.

I kinda wanted to do something really 1-off for the motor/esc but i see its all been done already... :-(

If i go the brushed route ill either go the 35T warriors or HH Hand wound 540's. still up in the air i guess.

Jason has 2 of the HH 45t in his Berg on 3s lipo. Has plenty of wheel speed from what I saw this weekend, crawled well also. I think he went back to back on us this weekend, dirty #$%^% won both comps.

Rocky the Warrior has a thread going somewhere here, and you can pump big amps into it if you want. Super smooth low end and big time wheel speed not quite a cobalt but very impressive never the less then multiply it by two. OMG

I am running a set of the custom hand wound 45turns from HolmesHobbies, a Castle Creations MambaMax, and a 11.1v 2200mah Lipo from Maxamps and I couldn't be happier.

What if... you used some shorter shocks and mount them on top the lower links and not on the link mounts. Use a spacer were the link mounts to the end to extend the link farthur out away from the motor.... Im sure someone has thought a little more on this. idk i could just be talking out of my ass lol.

I would bet they could work with a stick type chassis.

i think ive seen a few builds with a stick chassis and some Cobalts. I was thinking, with a standard link set up though. This is prolly gone over and over already. I should just stop

My Axial rig runs a Cobalt 7t 3s 1550 11.1 lipo and a Tekin FX-R. My Berg runs Integy Handwound 35t's 2100 11.1 lipo and a Tekin FX-R. Wheelspeed is almost identical which is fast enough to lift the front wheels with good traction on full accelleration. It crawls very slow and has plenty of torque.
