Isn't that last motor nitro powered? I thought I saw it in someone's scale puller truck. That hemi is Sweet (gotta say it like the goober on the comercial though)

Neat... i've never heard a nitro engine sound like that, i thought that it would always be the high pitched buzz, but i guess thats ony small displacement engines.

BTW Rokclod... Did you notice the price on that model V-10? It's 250 thousand!!! 8O 8O 8O You could make yourself a kick ass 1:1 crawler and still have enough to make an RC crawler with that much!
(But it is pretty cool)

I've seen the Conley ones before, but that other V8 is sweet! It even sounded real when he revved it up! 8)

I seen the 1/4 scale engines before but i never heard one they sound just like a real full scale engine i was amazed
i dont think its nitro listen to the way it sounds and it doesnt smoke at all....

I believe the run on gas or propane, and i dont think they have glowplugs either. I shure would love to hear that whenever i open up my rc.

That V8 might be running on nitro. It looks like its smoking a little bit when the camera moves around the end. RC engines smoke because they are run rich so they dont over heat. That V8 has a radiator so it might be run leaner than your typical rc engine. Just my thought. I've never heard a 1:4 scale engine either so who knows.

The big one on the stand in the video is running on gas,,, they have a dist. and spark plugs in them . i have seen a few of those at swap meets for old car parts we go to ... hey are sweet. and there not too expensive compared to the conley ones... whitch are alot smaller in size . if i can find the link to the site that sells the kits for those bigger ones ill post it

Conley motors I am 99% sure run on propane. I am always on the lookout for more info / pics / vids of these motors. They are very hard to come by.

if memory serves me,LOL, when I read about these they said they ran on COX fuel and the eight glow plus were used to start then disconnected. but that was i the 80's and they could have changed by now......
