Here is a Pre-View of the Jp Custom Rc's Berg Lock Out.

No Cutting, No Drilling, Direct Bolt up.

This is a Knuckle Replacement Part

These are no Bigger then the Stock Knuckles and don't take up anymore room.

I have these worked out. So after you install these. Just rotate you axles so instead of the C's going up and down. Rotate the C's so they are horizontal with the ground. This will give you even more clearance.

These have also been design to take aftermarket CVD's. When they come out.

$24.99 I will also post More pic's soon.

Thanks guys.. I will have a Price and be taking Pre-Orders very soon. I figured these would be nice for tha fact. I have already seen a few guys Build these as 2.2's... Then changed them to Supers. Since these you don't have to cut anything. You can reuse your old Stock knuckles for Steering. Also if you plan on selling your Axles down the road. Would be make them easier to sell.

More Coming soon.

One quick question, when you rotate the axle tube to get teh C's horizontal wont your link mounts on the tube get rotated as well?

One quick question, when you rotate the axle tube to get teh C's horizontal wont your link mounts on the tube get rotated as well?

Not on a PIMP CANE.... Also on a Pimp Cane you have extra Mounting points for Electronic Plates or battery holders.

Ya, but an easy L bracket will correct that issue and relocate the mounts. Or just mount your Links and Shocks in the New location. All you are is rotating the axle Tubes 45*.... This would put your mounts for your Links and Shocks on top of the Tubes. Moves them up and out of the way as well. But like I said you don't have to rotate the tubes to use these lockouts.

When are we going to get a look at the Pimp Cane for the berg axles?

All I'm waiting on is the CAD work to get finished up for the Brackets. I will have a few Prototypes before to long.

That's sounding good JP one more question about the Pimp Cane will it work with RC4WD's Bully axles as well?

We will see. I'm one of the testers for the Bully Axles. So There will be a way for them to work on those as well.

Just rotate you axles so instead of the C's going up and down. Rotate the C's so they are horizontal with the ground. This will give you even more clearance.

With the wheel offset that most are running with these axles, I don't think you'll need to rotate the axle tubes for clearance. Most of the lockout will be tucked up inside the wheel.

Most, but not all. Not all wheels are the same width either. Also with a Pimp Cane Rotating those tubes allows the use of those extra mounting points for other things.

The rotating of the axle tubes can be done with any Berg with any lock out. Just something I though maybe a few could use. Besides.... This isn't a selling point for me and I don't want guys getting hung up on that part.

The Main thing about these. Is the fact they save your stock knuckles for use of maybe a future build. Or you have a couple of spare knuckles. In case you break a steering knuckle during a comp. Also these should be stronger since the lockout covers the Whole C's. So this should strengthen the whole outer axle housing.

I agree! And I think its a good looking part. I'll more than likely be picking me up a set when you get them done.

New Update: Price is set at $24.99 for the Pair. Reuses all the stock bearings and axles. Also Should allow CVD's when ever anyone makes them. There should be enough room still inside these to allow it.

Updated Pic's..

Next to the Stock Knuckles and Lockouts
http://i174.photobucket.com/albums/w94/spg7565/CIMG1561.jpg

Straight on Shot mounted up with Wheels and Tires. The Wheels are 2.2 Stampede Wheels with the Outer bead Cut off. ( Gave me about a 10-1/2in Track width.) Anyway you can see not much sticks out at all. And even more will be covered up with Aftermarket Berg Beadlocks. Like Mayhems.
http://i174.photobucket.com/albums/w94/spg7565/CIMG1557.jpg

And here is the little Tip you can do to gain even more Clearance. Since you have to Drill and clock the rear axle anyway. Make it where the lockouts are flat with the ground. This tip would work with any aftermarket lock-out.

I got my JP Berg-OCM-Newage LockOuts today . Beenin' a TEAM Driver has is perks. The bearings fit very tight . The lockouts themselfs had to lightly tapped on the axles . They don't move even before you put the screws in . The design was thought out to allow for CVDs down the road. If anyone ever gets them made . They took about 5mins. per side to install .That was removing the old knuckles and lockouts . I may clock the rear axle tubes later on . If I see they are going to cause a problem with hang ups . here is a few pics .......
http://i109.photobucket.com/albums/n68/Badd_Xample/OCM/jplockwheel003.jpg http://i109.photobucket.com/albums/n68/Badd_Xample/OCM/jplockwheel004.jpg http://i109.photobucket.com/albums/n68/Badd_Xample/OCM/jplockwheel005.jpg http://i109.photobucket.com/albums/n68/Badd_Xample/OCM/jplockwheel006.jpg http://i109.photobucket.com/albums/n68/Badd_Xample/OCM/jplockwheel007.jpg I should say that these are still the protos .

run2jeepn

You can also run a Different Offset Rear Wheel. Which can give you a slightly Narrow Track width for the Rear.

So what can these Lock-Outs Offer: No More Ripping Sidewalls, Easy install, Stronger then stock, Should allow for CVD's down the road, Can be rotated for even more Clearance, No cutting, direct Bolt on...

The ones Badd has are the Proto's. The Production ones will be Black.
