We are planning a southern fun run for the second weekend of September at Bucks Pocket state park in northeast Alabama. We have found roughly 1/4 mile of dry creek bed that is awsome for crawling.
Being a state park there are full camping facilities for those who would wish to camp out for the weekend. Full hookup is $16 per night. The only drawback is that the closest motel is roughly 20 miles from the park.
Those interested can post here or email me at robinsonracing@bellsouth.net

Here are a few pics of this weekends fun. We will post new pics each weekend.

It was an awsome weekend. There was a little damage at the end of the day Sunday. One twisted front driveshaft and one trashed front steering servo.

I'll be there as long as I don't have to work. I used to drive my 1:1 jeep out there (not in the creek but on the trail beside it). LOTS OF ROCKS!!!

Where are you from?

300 miles... that's not bad. I had too much going on to make it to GA Sunday, but I might be able to make it to this one. My son's first soccer game is coming up, not sure which day. I'll try to be there if we don't have a game this Saturday.:)

Destroyer Patch it up and send it back in. You are more than welcome to run one of ours if you still want to make the trip. From what I hear there will be more than enough trucks to go around.

CSR We are running saturday and sunday. There are some that are staying the weekend.

RX PM me and I will get you the info you asked for.

If you have any questions about directions and such PM me and I will send you contact info.

Don`t know if I`ll be able to get Overkill repaired in time to make it or not. Broke another upper link mount off the rear axle in GA. I gotta build something stronger than the XTM plastic and not much time during the week.

My son has a soccer game tomorrow. I don't want to hurt his feelings. But now that I think about it, his mom missed a game and he didn't seem to care, actually I don't even think he noticed that she wasn't there. Let me ask the 4 year old for permission, if he doesn't care then I'll be there. :)

I may be able to make out on sunday. I'm trying to put my old truck back together, so it's a possibility. Thanks for the offer aubie, but I would feel bad if I broke someone else's truck.

Yeah RXcrawler is Joey Floyd.

I finally finished pharmacy school. I had to get into this crawling thing while I was in school because I never had the time to work on my 1:1 truck.

I read that you have a toyota, have we ridden together?
Do you know Hal Hall?

E-mail me at jmfloyd@earthlink.net

Do I know Hal? He's my daddy! I was there with cameras rolling when he flopped on Guardrail. Man, it's a small world! This is Chris Robbins, had a silver Samurai, rode with you at Monteagle and Tellico several times. Hell, I was just looking thru old pictures and found one of you riding with me in my Suzuki at Monteagle. :) I sold the Samurai and built a solid axle EFI Toyota. I got into R/C crawling a few months ago, thought my son would like it. He hasn't taken much interest in it, I'm hooked! I haven't done anything to my 1:1 truck since I bought the TXT-1.

I'm definitely coming tomorrow, I'll see y'all then. :D

RXcrawler

I can't believe you sold the zuki, we all talk about how amazing that zuk was, it went everywhere with those 32 SX's

I have the tape of Hal rolling in my vcr right now!!! Talk about picking a bad spot to roll!

It's amazing how small this world is. It's kind of sad my 1:1 truck hasn't been on my #1 priority list since I have got hooked on this RC crawling stuff. Its alot cheaper to fix a broken RC.

I have a complete Toyota drivetrain Fuel injected motor on all waiting to be put in my zuk if I would quit playing with my little trucks

See ya Saturday.
