I am from the Worcester area, though I go mtn biking down on the cape in winter. One place I usually go is Otis AFB. There is good trails there and it may be a good area to check out for crawling, it is just over the bourne bridge, the upper cape area? Let me know if you find anything good.

i had been biking at otis quite a bit.
then they started to squash things a bit out there. it became " private property "... or so they claimed. i don't know what the trails are like out there now as i sold my old freerider years ago after i got all busted up at sunday river.

it used to get really rocky towards the 151 side of things.
that might be where the good spots are... i would be down for checking that out.

if your into biking there...
check out " trail of tears ".
some of it gets pretty brutal.

i have also been thinking of a place off the side of route 3A in plymouth.
just past serious cycles on the left (headed from plymouth to manomet)
there is a ton of cool rocky trails out there, and the middle of the run used to have a sweet bench and table.

its funny that you posted this because i was just thinking this last night.
i can go and wheel all my old mountain bike trails.

Is it true that you can ride quads and dirtbikes over at Otis AFB if you register with them?

I read that on another forum, but couldn't confirm it. I'd be curious to find out about it.

last i knew you could not legally.
i could be wrong though.

there are not too many places that you can ride anymore. freetown had been a great spot for years, but the land owner over there and a few riders had a fallout last season. i heard they are not allowing any riding out there either.

now there's another spot to scope for scale wheeling... freetown is rock haven.

I know a spot for quad riding. My uncle owns a junk yard, They had a kid that had hung out there alot and built some trails in the back, he got caught stealing stuff so now there are a bunch of trails and I know of one guy who rides there. There is one rule, If you get hurt, they are not responsible for your health. Now back on topic, I would be up for a gtg in freetown, where is the spot in relation to where the plaza is ? Oh, and if your up for gtg in ct, there's a pretty large one this weekend in norwich.

I know of a couple of good spots for scale trail riding/crawling @ Freetown State Forest. I'll snap a couple of pics and post them up for you guys.

i would be more than happy to meet up at freetown for some wheeling.

as for wheeling out there with the 1:1 i dont know how much actual terrain is out there.
the only time i been out there was on foot for the hare scrambles.

i haven't been out there in my sexterra...
