Man, don't get in a race with a snail... you'll lose! I think ~40:1 is enough, but ~174:1?!?!?!

i think this thing will be great, i'm thinking a 55T motor, this gear reduction, and a scale transfer case will make a killer scalier/trail rig. but that my $.02

There's a 1:6th scale Ranger on Ebay now that uses a WK tranny as a transfer case. I've seen it run...it is exceedingly cool.

i think it's funny how these two have gotten so big right now. Eritex has been working on has for days. i know for three months now i have pm'd him every other week about his. hes said to keep showing interest and he would know people still wanted it. and RC4WD is great theres look much more of 1:1 but i know it will be just like there other stuff $$$. i know i seen they don't know how much yet but they said a lest $90. so i am waiting to see some write ups first. but they both look killer.

This ON a tranny? 124:1 to a 2:1 makes the final a 248:1 before the axles...Which is 2.5:1.... which puts the final at 620:1?:roll:

the reduction unit itself is 7.4:1 or something close to that they have that exact info on HPI europe.. myself I dont really care what the final ratio is on a WK mine will never be used in that application..

I put this on my stretched WK crawler last weekend, with a 96t spur, 21t pinion and metal tranny gears it works like a dream (and it uses bearings unlike the RC$WD unit that has bushings)

nate how fast doies your wk go witht the 96t spur and the 21t pinion? cause I have the 15t pinion and mine is painfully slow. it would never make it through a comp course in time.
