So far I've moved the Esc to the rear servo plate, I've moved the Rx onto the upper link on a piece of lexan zipped tied. I ditched the electronics/batt mount and I'm running an elite 1500mah 3cell pack behind the servo on a piece of lexan. I also installed some 35wt. oil and 2.5oz of weight to the front wheels. Future mods include: Losi grappler, and some experamenting with some memory foam. Here's some pics,

3 cell is not going to work, 3.6v they still don't have enough power with 7.2v. i would rather have high center of gravity then no power.

How much of a difference did those mods make for you? Was it a pretty substantial improvement?

I've added two more cells to that pack now. Gets plenty of run time and got the stock power back. yupee"thumbsup"

I installed some 45wt shock oil to the rears and made a huge diference. tourque twist is minimal. I also limited the shocktravle inside about 3/16" seems to be just bout right. Can't wait for the mini grappler"thumbsup"

Thanks, I like them too. These were the easiest wheels to mount ever. Thanks Gerame for these sweet wheels, I'll probably try the comp heavies as well. They look sick in white.

what kind of mods/parts were needed to put the Hitec 645 servos in.

I used an Axial servo plate drilled and counter sunk the holes to fit on the MRC axle and used the plastic servo mounts to mount the servo. I made a steering link out of a TI. turnbuckle. I will shoot some pics tommarro and post up.
