I am working on transferring to knoxville around november and would like to hear from some people that live in the area.
I am mostly looking for info on nice/decent areas to live.
My girlfriend is planning on going to UTK for some post grad stuff so I would prefer to find a place near the campus, or really just close enough via public transportaion.
if anyone knows a real estate agent that deals with rental property that would be a great help, I have 2 dogs and enough tools that I pretty much need a house with a garage and preferably a fenced in back yard.
once again, any info would be greatly appreciated.

Well, the transfer went through, I am moving up the week after thanksgiving.
Not really familiar with the surrounding areas yet, where do you guys crawl within a couple hours of knoxville?

Your welcome to join up with us."thumbsup" We have a few local spots we run our comps at around the east TN. area. We are looking for a few more locations at the moment. There's also a few spots we used to run at,in and around Knoxville, but they are just not big enough for a bigger group like we see at a comp. Good for get togethers with a few guys though. Click the ETRC link in my signature to go to our site. Theres a list of sticky threads in the season information section that have directions to some places we crawl.
Keep an eye on the competition section here on RCC as we have a comp every month."thumbsup" Our next one is December 13th at my place.....about 1.5 hours north of west Knoxville. "thumbsup".....http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/showthread.php?t=144879
