How does fliping the motor/trans help torque twist?
The motor is dead center no mater what way you have it.
If anything fliping it moves the the trans rear of center, and everything I read says move as much weight forward.
Can someone with some experience help me with this?

I did the flip and the torque twist was worse:!: I don't know why but it was so I flipped it back.

Most flip it to make room for the battery to be placed on the front upper link.

I don't know that it made mine any worse, I just notice that the flip moved weight to the rear... and thats not good...right.

Probably because it's now moved to the side of the chassis that gets torqued towards the ground and can't be used to counter the twist.

That I can understand.

But Ive seen 5 or 6 people say it helps? What did they do that I didn't?

Beats the hell outta me, once I saw it lean to the left under power, I kinda figured it may not work well that way

After. I can't quite wrap my head around why I would want to flip it. One picture = "oh, duh" :D

The springs where the same way as stock.

That is the reason I flipped mine."thumbsup"

Swap the rear springs one is stiffer then the other. The flip's main benefit is the added room for the battery on the front links.

The left rear is always going to be the side that squats under throttle there would be no reason to switch the springs.

I flipped my trany and I think the twist is the same, but with the bat on the front link in crawls allot better. So the twist might be the same maybe a little worse but in my opinion it is a more capable rig. I plan to 4 link the rear that is suppose to help allot.

I think that thunder was pointing out that the left rear spring is a stiffer spring, and if he fliped the spring along with the trans/motor then the twisting would be worse.
I flipped the tranny in mine to put the battery on the front link. I also put about 8mm of fuel tube in the shocks to lower it as well as 50wt oil in the back shocks, and it stiffened the suspension enough that I have pretty mush no torque twist.

I flipped the skid/tranny/motor and the torque twist is worse. But, with the battery up front, it does crawl better. Once I get a small lipo for it, I will put the skid back to the stock set up.
