This is my attempt at a Scaler using the WK axles and frame. I used some HPI 1.9 wheels and some tamiya tires. The Bronco body i painted myself. Nothing fancy. just thought i would share.

Boost, I see you built your WK after all, looks great! those rims look like they tucked in the body nicely. could you post a few more pics with side and front profiles? and one with body off, thanks

rocresq, do you know how he mounted the 1.9s on those axles? its killin me I have to know....lol
Looks like he got some HPI "Stock Car" wheels and Tamiya tires, TC or Traxxas wheel hexes, then bolted them up.

parker88, No kidding. About a month ago he had been talking about doing this build with axial 2.2 beadlocks and we discussed the track width. but thanks for trying to put me on blast.
P.S. its not like I plugged my servo and esc wires in backwards

thanks for all the replies. All i did was use some HPI stock car wheels and tamiya tires. Althought the tires are a tad short, i managed to get some good runs today at Vasquez rocks. The spacers on the wheels are half the size that the WK ones are. ill have to take pics of them. i will eventually run leafs on the front and rear but that will come further down the road. for now ill run some taller tires and maybe that will give me more clearance at the pumpkin. "thumbsup"
here are some pics of today.

Are Wk axles too wide for a scaler or something? About how wide are they with 1.9s and 2.2s mounted? When I get one I was loking at a New Bright RC Rubicon to use a a body.

they are pretty wide compared to TLT's and axials but with wider bodies like the bronco it works pretty good. The 1.9's im using tuck pretty good. I guess if you ran the axials it be better, then again, i have no money so i run what i got. :P
thinner wheel adapters make it work too for using the WK axels. I guess i could try and narrowing the WK axles but i dont know if i wanna go that route.
So i guess it just depends on the body.
Good luck"thumbsup"

Hows the offest on most wheels? Are they just about zero? So i'd take the width of the axle plus half the width of the tire on both sides. I remember seeing a topic that compared the widths of different axles.

yeah, the offset is 0 on these wheels. they are 26mm wide i believe. ill post more pics when i can. just bought some new tires too. so maybe ill get more clearance at the pumkin as the tamiya tires have shorter sidewalls.
