I think I know my next project step for Der Stein Grenadier. I want to make some beadlock wheels that will bolt directly to the TLT, but that use Maxx tires.

This is kind of the same effect. I want to make some 1-1.5" wide wheels out of aluminum with lock rings. They will feature a multiple hole design, something like 13 holes, alot of offset, I think the hub will mount in line with the inside lip of the wheel, but it will also have a deep dish wheel look. It will be something like the Stampede wheel, but not exactly.
I am going back to my highschool to drop off some folders with my Engineering teacher, and I will ask him about doing this as part of maybe an extra credit assignment, or an outright assignment for his engineering kids (he's had design contests before for various teacher needs, like a dog house that his architecture kids had to design to mimmick the teacher's real house, and a dugout/ equipment shack for our baseball field). I am sure he will allow something to happen so long as I pay for materials... It might be for a few months, but it is something I definately want to pursue
