Course Setup , Who does it

Newbie here , who sets up the courses at the competitions. Is it fair for the organizer of the event to set up the courses and then compete in that same event ? Could the course setup be left to all compeditors , say split up in 3 groups and set up three courses.

The way we do it is we get 3/4 people to set up the courses that way it's not a strain on one person to do all the work.

That works. We see who wants too. Makes it interesting."thumbsup" I set up 2 courses the first comp of the year, and I was the only one who had a DNF on both courses.:oops:

What our club normally does is 3-4 guys take a set of gates and set up a course. We have 3 courses set up at the same time. After we run the drivers that did not make the finals, make the final course for the driver who made it to the finals...
