View Full Version : Just starting the Rock Force build

Thought about getting into Rock Crawlers for a while. As a child I loved Stompers...still have a vast collection of them.
I'm mostly into planes, but have a couple RC trucks, all electric, a bike and a sailboat.
The Rock Force looks like a great kit. Looking forward to getting on it, unfortunately, both drive shafts are missing from the kit...thats all I noticed so far. I did get the dig, so it came with one. Is there a drawing that shows how the dig for the Rock force goes together?
Thanks for your help!

Not to pile on, looks like a real nice kit, but mine is missing both "worm wheel shafts" as well (PN's "RF006"). It looks like my serial number is somewhere in between 2760, +/-20 (?). Inspector Yamazaki needs some new glasses.

they will make it right . just call tomorrow. several have had this problem. Inspector Yamazaki needs some new glasses. makes me lol"thumbsup":lol::lol::lol:
Yeah I just emailed Kyosho. I suppose this is the (small) price we pay for an industry that is moving at lightspeed, rushing to push fresh new products out the door. Nothing bores me more than a stagnant industry recycling the same old stuff. That is certainly not the case here. What a great time to be into rc crawling!
Though I am not quite sure what to do about those "tires" in my $400 kit....they'll make good dog toys I suppose. Blah.

I hear you. I figured since it was their bad, they would at least send them out 2 day air delivery. I own a business ...if I make a mistake, parts go out next day air, no questions asked. I try to keep the customer happy...I spare no expense. I guess, thats the difference in the little guy... If I was in a super rush I would have made my own....
I would have if I known they would have taken 5 or more days to get here.

They sent my replacement parts out UPS ground. Only took about 4 days, not bad from coast to coast.

That wouldn't be bad.... If its going USPS, then it will be 5 days mininum.
On another note I received my high speed gears today... I matched them up with what my truck came with, and the worm gear mesh perfectly with one another....is there any chance that they packed high speed gears inmy kit? HMMM
