I got a chance to build and run mine (build thread coming this strep throat killed me this week).

I have to tell you it is very predictable and was able to climb areas where the others fell flats even with my poor foam choice in my Rovers.

Plus The Eye is a great guy to deal with.

I can agree with that, super easy to deal with and the bonus is a great compact little chassis. Finally got mine built and it is a tidy unit...looking forward to winter passing and getting it on the rocks!

2 Top 10 finishes at the Midwest Indoor Championships! XJ Farmer and myself.

Both used no glue to make the finals...

The Chassis works well.

+1 on that

Yes you can use it with an Axial, but to do this you will need to have the new TAG~S chassis. The org. TAG was designed just for MOA style rigs.

Here is a picture of my son's build with the axial "thumbsup"

thought it looked familiar the short links threw me off. the TAG S for the axial come with the proper size links and not like the pics right ? skid plate included in the pricing ?

The TAG S in the above picture has the same lower links we use on the MOA chassis. The links are shortened to get to 12.5 wb. becuase the skid plate is longer on this chassis.

NOTE: with the TAG S any axial lower links will work.

The TAG S kit is not yet complete, but will include chassis plates, skid plate, and chassis stays.

Being looking for the release of the TAG S in about a week. I will also add the link here in this thread.

You should only need to shave 2-4mm off the links to get them to work on the TAG-S version. For the TAG to Berg we only barely lengthened them.

TAG~S with R2DII:

I have been out of the garage for a while due to a hernia surgery I had on the 19th. Here is what i have so far. I started out with WK axles, but decided to go to axial axles instead of making a drive shaft that will fit the 2. I am also getting lower links for an artr. These parts should be in thursday!

Anyway here is what i have.

TAG, I'm it! Very impressed with my Tag chassis so far. This chassis is VERY versitile and offers excellent options for mounting electronics. I managed to mount everything onto a plate and leave room for the lipo inside the chassis. I like the double beak skid as far as skids go. One option I would make is for a full length tray for the top.
Get TAG'd, being IT is COOL."thumbsup"
Thanks for a great product.
