The Georgia International Horse Park is located just 28 miles EAST of the city of Atlanta.

JasonInAugusta and I were thinking around 10 am on Sunday Sept 5th in the Park's parking lot. We couldn't reserve anything because that requires cash.

As long as we are flexible there are plently of spots. Also I have a second location near by if needed.

I am planning on going out this weekend shooting a few minutes of crawling video so everyone can see whats up.

Anyone know the best way to the park from I-85 without have to get on the Atlanta Motor Speedway (I-285)? 285 is all Mapquest want to tell me and I can`t seem to find my Atlas.
So is it just going to be the the five of us ?

I think the time of day you are coming I-285 will be OK. Trying to avoid 285 will add at least an hour to your drive.

Just checked the weather prediction for Sunday.

30% chance of scattered T-storms.

That means 70% chance of sunshine! :D

Oh yeah sun morning 285 shouldn`t be too bad, never even considered the day :roll: , all I could think of was being on 285 at about 5:30pm during the week, I`ll never make that mistake again.

Looks like i`ll be there unless something comes up between now and then. I`ll probably drive down and back same day, as I`m sure a room in that area goes for $80 and up a night.
