I'm going about things a bit different in 2009. I've been sitting on this design for a while because I wanted to build up my inventory of this wheel and have sets of them in inventory and ready to ship and now it's time to release them!!! Wooo Hooo!!!! (A few of you guys have them already)
The main feature of this wheel is that it's reversable. You can run it wide or narrow by just flipping the wheel around on the hub. This allows you to use the One9 in scale applications as well as 1.9" comp crawlers such as the Losi MRC! The main body of the wheel is made of black delrin. The hubs and rings are made of CNC machined aluminum goodness. So if you have a scale rig that needs a decent offset wheel or maybe you have a Losi MRC that needs "Real" set of beadlocks...or....maybe you have both. The CAC "ONE9" is the beadlock to buy. A set of them can be had for $100 and that includes stainless hardware and shipping in the U.S.A.
The data:
rim width 1" with rings installed/.750 without rings installed.

Axels: Axial
Tires: RC4WD 1.9" OutCroppers
Track width (narrow) 9.125"
Track width wide (flipped/reversed) 9.875"
(Track width was measured from the outtermost edge of tire.)
Axels: Losi MRC
Tires: RC4WD 1.9" Rock Crushers
Track width (narrow) 6.875"
Track width wide (flipped/reversed) 7.625"
(Track width was measured from outtermost edge of tire.)
These measurements should give you a pretty good idea of how versatile the "ONE9" B/L is.

Hmmm, what do I think about them...

Well, having never owned nor seen any of wheels in person (that I know of), it would just be going by the photos posted in this thread and others. I know for a scaler build, CaC wheels would be the way to go. They come highly regarded with the local guys up here. I have heard the name mentioned a few times around our forums.

Onto the One9's,

The design is very clean and simple looking (not overly flashy, good). The "dimples" in the rings give it a nice scale beadlock appearance. The extra material added on the ring for the screw holes is a nice touch. The price is decent as well for what you receive. The ability to flip and reverse is clever.

You asked to tell you what I thought about them. I did... :ror:
