Hello there!
Got the RF built and have it running with the DIG 3 position switch in the flaps.... Its really fun by the way! The only problem I have is that I need to phyically move the stick to center and hold it there for a second before I can go in reverse. I would like to be able to use my right stick for forward and reverse as well as turning. Does anyone know what to do in this situation? I'm using a Mamba Max ESC...is there a programing area where I can change the time it takes to recognize zero position?
Thanks for the help

My first thought is that in the Mamba Max software there is a setting for Brake/Reverse Type. If set to proportional:
Proportional w/ Reverse Lockout
For bashing or racing (may not be an allowed setting for racing). The controller must see 2 seconds of steady neutral throttle before it will allow reverse operation.
Change that to Forward to Brake To Reverse. That should fix it. "thumbsup""thumbsup"

Thanks David, that worked great. By chance, is there anyway to rig it with the right (elevator) stick throttle? I won't be doing it, just wondering if its possible.
Thanks again

plug the esc into the elevator slot on the reciever and recalibrate

I was thinking maybe I would try that, but I thought that the "power" had to be in the throttle channel.
Thanks!
By the way, maybe I can get another answer: How can I set up the dig with a DX3 with 3 positions?
Thanks again

e-hills was dead on.
I am not sure about setting up the dig on the DX3 since I haven't played with one. Maybe someone else who has one can chime in!

looks like 2p is your only option. looks like grip switch c is a good option for a 2p(4wd and dig no freewheel).
