My WK has been through some changes, from stock to a semi scale fun truck, and now I handed it over to Uncle Fred (the old guy with glasses) and his crew, The Lazy Bunch, so don't expect too much.
(BTW the date in the camera was messed up till I corrected it, so pay no attention to it, some pics were lost also and I will get more, sorry!)

This is what it looked like before they got hold of it:
http://i478.photobucket.com/albums/rr145/cayminlast/loco8WK/Picture040.jpg

This is what they have so far.
WK axles, only rear is locked so far
Same wheels and tires, for now anyway
Rustler trans
Brazed 3/16 brake line tube chassis.

Fred and Vinny checking over the front end, Fred, says there are problems, but they can be fixed.
http://i478.photobucket.com/albums/rr145/cayminlast/scale%20shop/DSCN6363.jpg
Got the hood from my old trashed T-Maxx CJ-8 body.
http://i478.photobucket.com/albums/rr145/cayminlast/scale%20shop/DSCN6369.jpg
test coat of paint
I gave them news about the shop they will be moving to
http://i478.photobucket.com/albums/rr145/cayminlast/scale%20shop/DSCN6481.jpg
They got it all mocked up, and didn,t take any pictures of the process?
(But they still have to take it apart again to fix some stuff, will get some then)
http://i478.photobucket.com/albums/rr145/cayminlast/scale%20shop/DSCN6483.jpg
Fred smokes too much!
http://i478.photobucket.com/albums/rr145/cayminlast/scale%20shop/DSCN6485.jpg
Calling for some more parts
http://i478.photobucket.com/albums/rr145/cayminlast/scale%20shop/DSCN6487.jpg

I know the shop looks a little empty, but more tools ect. will be coming soon.
The lazy bunch says thanks for taking a look

Well, I checked in to see how the crew are coming along and they have been dragging a$$, but they got some stuff done on the interior.
http://i478.photobucket.com/albums/rr145/cayminlast/scale%20shop/DSCN6570.jpg
Instead of going to the LHS to get styrene, Vinny went to Home Depot and got one of those large 'for sale' signs to make up parts for the tranny cover ect.
http://i478.photobucket.com/albums/rr145/cayminlast/scale%20shop/DSCN6571.jpg
Slowly it seems to be coming together.

http://i478.photobucket.com/albums/rr145/cayminlast/scale%20shop/DSCN6578.jpg

The driver will have to sit on top of the ESC

http://i478.photobucket.com/albums/rr145/cayminlast/scale%20shop/DSCN6573.jpg
Some final fitting and sanding needed on the various parts, the battery will have to sit under the dash, a tray or some way of securing it needs to be worked out.
More to come soon. Thanks for taking a look.

Thank you! , making and finding scale stuff is my other hobby, LOL.
And, Thank You too Chris.

Uncle Fred and the crew, have been doing a bit more work, and are close to the end.

Thank you all, you are too kind.

Brokenb4: What did you use for the rear body panels?
The sides are thin styrene sheet, the roof and interior are also styrene, only the little panel at the back and the skid are Aluminium.
I got called back to work so spare time has been short recently. I will update later today. Thanks again for taking a look.

Sorry for the delay! I got tied up with the wiring,
The boys got busy and here we go.
Fred and Vinny found a battery powered LED striplight and decided to scrap the existing tube roof light bar for a lighter one.
They cut took the light apart and cut it to size.
http://i478.photobucket.com/albums/rr145/cayminlast/scale%20shop/DSCN6372.jpg
Then proceeded to build a styrene box to house the new system.
http://i478.photobucket.com/albums/rr145/cayminlast/scale%20shop/DSCN6373-1.jpg
Vinny got an idea, "let,s call the little piggy 'Christmas' mmmm! pork chops"
http://i478.photobucket.com/albums/rr145/cayminlast/scale%20shop/DSCN6378.jpg
Fred, " Listen knucklehead, you wanna play or build a light bow huh!?"
http://i478.photobucket.com/albums/rr145/cayminlast/scale%20shop/DSCN6381.jpg
To make up for getting Fred pissed off and scrapping the first light box, Vinny got his young nephews to come over and help with the sanding on the new design.
http://i478.photobucket.com/albums/rr145/cayminlast/scale%20shop/DSCN6382.jpg
http://i478.photobucket.com/albums/rr145/cayminlast/scale%20shop/DSCN6383.jpg
Both the kids are into skateboarding so Vinny called and got them a membership to the local skate park, what a nice guy.
http://i478.photobucket.com/albums/rr145/cayminlast/scale%20shop/DSCN6384.jpg
Now Fred was a little less grumpy (hangover was wearing off) and the kids did a fine job with the sanding, he sent them on their way, "Bye! thanks for the help guys!" " Yea! now this looks better."
http://i478.photobucket.com/albums/rr145/cayminlast/scale%20shop/DSCN6386.jpg
Ok, let's get serious again, Charlie and Fred started to fit the lights and fix the wiring.
http://i478.photobucket.com/albums/rr145/cayminlast/scale%20shop/DSCN6601.jpg
http://i478.photobucket.com/albums/rr145/cayminlast/scale%20shop/DSCN6602.jpg
Then Fred fabbed up a fuel tank (battery holder).
http://i478.photobucket.com/albums/rr145/cayminlast/scale%20shop/DSCN6604.jpg
http://i478.photobucket.com/albums/rr145/cayminlast/scale%20shop/DSCN6603.jpg
Got the paint on, wired up the box and lights, front and rear (dollar store LED clip on reading lights, Radio shack red button lights, ect)
http://i478.photobucket.com/albums/rr145/cayminlast/scale%20shop/DSCN6610.jpg
Got the light bar fitted to the roof, Andy(the driver) likes them a lot.
http://i478.photobucket.com/albums/rr145/cayminlast/scale%20shop/DSCN6611.jpg
Test the lights!
http://i478.photobucket.com/albums/rr145/cayminlast/scale%20shop/DSCN6612.jpg
No smoke or sparks! They all work fine. Hard to see the rear lights with the flash, and Hey! I noticed they started decorating the walls too.
http://i478.photobucket.com/albums/rr145/cayminlast/scale%20shop/DSCN6614.jpg

It's raining outside today so can't get action pics right now, but I will post some as soon as I can.
Thanks for stopping by to take a look. More as soon as I can!
