Hey everyone,

Bought my kit back in Jan, been trolling around here for a while but never really signed up, I was wondering if anyone had built a battery plate for the front axle? I'm currently using 7.2v Nimh packs, and cant stand having the battery so high up.

Pics are love...

i want to do the same thing. with the way the shocks sit on top, its a bit trickier but it could work. i would look at 2/3a cell tho. Sub c are just huge. i did run a split subc pack on top the axles on the ax10 tho.

I think on top of the upper links might be a better spot, or with a small enough lipo, you could velcro on top the steering servo.

I will post a pic this weekend of my set up. I will be putting my home mde 7 cell 2/3A battery pack on the steering servo. Should work out pretty good.

you don't need the battery to add weight over the axle.

2 peices of .125 steel over each axle.

I don't think that will work for the Creeper. The shock mounts are on
top of the axle

i like what you did with your steering.im going to do the same i need to make a mount for my servo to also raise that up to.im going to go with a lipo battery when i do that.im building a tube chassy so im going remove the stock battery tray and move everything forward to get the wieght up front.

That looks like something a T.I.E. fighter pilot would run. :ror:
