I'm currently looking for some links to extend out my WK a bit.
I can get http://www.rcslot.com/pc-radio-control-slot-cars/AXI30445.html?query=http%3A%2F%2Fhobby.rcslot.com% 2Faxial%25252Dax%25252D10--list
cheap and locally.
Will these be suitable.
I was looking at the hpi website and found their guide
(http://www.hpiracing.com/news/2007061801/).
Similar sized.
I was also wondering how they measure these lengths, is it the length from end to end, or is it directly point to point?

They are measured end to end. I run 101mm on back and 98mm on front and wb comes out to 12.5. But i also run a axial chassis.
You will also need longer drive shafts. Check out this kit.http://www.tcscrawlers.com/RC4WD-Extended-Wheelbase-Suspension-Kit-for-Wheely-King-X-0376-p-16588.html

rottenbelly, I have seen this kit and was pretty interested in it.
I live in New Zealand and we don't really have a good scene over here and ability to get parts easily without ordering from US/ebay.
There is a place over here selling those axial links so I thought it could be an option. That same place sells these: http://www.rcplanet.com/Axial_Drive_Shaft_p/axi80011.htm - would these be suitable drive shafts? I might need to cut them down to suit though right?
I want to create something similar in appearance to chongdigga's Sand King, so was hoping these would be suitable. I've also considered making my own links but those caught my eye.
Thanks for info so far. Looking forward to some more info "thumbsup"

Those shaft wont work on the wk, The yokes are to small and with power they will pop off all the time. You will want to look at these.
http://www.rcplanet.com/Traxxas_Half_Shafts_Long_p/tra4951x.htm
You will have to cut a 1/4 inch of these but it will make a stronger set up than axial. The axial shafts are smaller than these. Here is that kit and those shafts on my sons king.

In this pic you can see the wk shaft is bigger than those axials. The axial ones are just weak compared to the traxxas ones!
