dead simple mod and costs nothing. basically you remove the read hub, slide the rear axle out about an inch or so and pop a spring perch from the stock wk shocks over the shaft at the narrow section before the ball. reinsert the shaft, remount the hub and your done. no extra linkages or fancy parts and 100% reversible.
it will still have a little play in the hub but you won't even notice it while driving. you can se it in the picture below between the hub and the axle c

If it moves in a comp it would be considered rear steer and you would be DQed!!! Not good...

I wouldn't trust that plastic piece to hold straight for long. Not the way I drive mine, anyway.

Not good... true enough, it was just a quick and dirty atempt at a rear lockout so i could get out on the rocks to test my set up. works good so far but i agree it would not be a good idea for a comp. but for bashing about it should be fine.

the white stuff is epoxy putty to reduce the chance of hang ups on the recess on the bottom of the axle c's (i've had it happen) . its also apllied to the lower of the front pumpkin and the lower of the rear pumpkin. most of the comps i've been to used a comination of blast rock and busted bricks which tends to snag the c's from time to time.
