4x4 Truck Show 4-11-2009 at 4Wheel Parts in Memphis!

Hey guys, it's time for the 4wheel Parts truck show. There will be a rock course. We will be more in the middle of the show rather than on the edge like last year. Please post up and let me know if you'd like to come. 2.2's, 1.9's ,Supers, Scalers (yes plz) are ALL WELCOME:-P oh.. and 1:1's if you have them.

I know Ken has a 1:1 mud buggy that he could bring....;-)

Is your rig hooked up with deans plugs? what kind of battery? I'm asking because I will have a rooster CE that has dean plugs, and it's set up for 2c lipo. The battery setting can be changed to nimh too.

Sorry ashton, the buggy is still in la, I need to get it back up here.....Is the fee for the guys entering the 1-1 stuff? Like last year were its free for the rc crawler guys and you only pay if your intering in the 1-1 show? I'll be there with the craw;ers and prob the revo, slash and maybe the blade 400 since i got the dx6i back........

YES.. the registration fee is for trucks entering the show. Admission to the show is free to all spectators "thumbsup"

Yea, I got some deans I can put on it. I run a split 4cell Nimh. Thanks for the help.

Guys I went up there yesterday and the set-up looks pretty good. I appreciate Jacob and his buddy finding all of this stuff for us. I didn't spend much time with it (battery died) but there are and will be some fun lines to drive on tomorrow. There is one 50 degree line that you have to floor it up to make it and it's pretty damn fun. Kind of the like the Tekin "wall of death" :twisted:. I plan on bringing a few more rocks. If anyone has a few that they can bring, the more the merrier.

p.s. The plan for us to have a spot to crawl at behind their shop hasn't vanished away. We just need to come up with a plan to get something back there that doesn't cost so much. Real rocks will be great, but we don't need it to all be real rocks. I have some ideas about using a concrete/gravel mix. I'm thinking a not-so-strong mix of concrete and gravel will male for some realistic nasty (in a good way) stuff to crawl on. For those who care, shoot me some ideas guys!

I'm glad you guys enjoyed it. I want to talk to the guys at 4wheel parts about picking up a ax10 kit so the kids will have a truck to drive. We could charge 5 bucks for 5 minutes or something and the money can go to charity, or into hop-up parts. There were some kids that wanted to drive and even a parent asked me if we were charging money to let the kids drive. Unfortunately there is no way that I would them all drive my competition rig. I've got too much money in it and I need it in tip-top shape for the comps.

We also still have the green light on having a crawl spot behind the shop. If anyone can donate their time or ideas that would be great. Just let me know if you'd be interested in helping. We can really get something going locally (MARCC ;-)) if we have the spots to do it. I came across an awesome spot today.... more info on that later.:shock:
