NWARC 5th COMP at HobbyTown

NWARC will be holding it's 5th comp at HobbyTown in Bentonville. If the weather is nice we will take the courses outside in the hope to draw some more crawlers to the sport.

Saturday, MAY 23rd

10:00 Sign-ups and course set-up start
10:55 drivers meeting
11:00 comp begains

We'll run 2.2 class and if 3 or more Supers or 1.9s show up we'll run them too.

I lived in Chico and drove to the mountains everyday for a summer cruising timber out there. Had many vacations since then in the NorCal.

Finished up a new cube for the next comp and a small ramp. Had some extra mud. I had a bag of corse sand and did a different rub on it. Duuuuuuuuuuuddddee wanted more traction. :roll: Just trying to keep everybody happy.;-)

No you are going to work on your foam set-up. But this cube and the one I'm fixen to start will be gritty. The sand I got is more course than the sand I had on the 1st ones and I'm doing a different rub on them.;-)

I think my new foam/tire setup is golden. Tons better than it was. "thumbsup"

I know those rocks weren't slick, but they were slicker than they appeared. But now I know, and knowledge is power. 8)

Should the next one I make, make it slick. I can make it real slick. I'll have to think of a good shape to be slick. Maybe some kind of wheel burning bump or something like that. :twisted:

Make it a big bowl...that would be very interesting to try to get out of and pass cleanly through a gate...


Or make it a big, windy downramp. Something that would make you go "oh sh*t, oh sh*t, oh sh*t" all the way down. :lol:

btw: I'm going to be sitting this one out. I just realized the 23rd is Memorial Day...I can't pass up working that weekend.

Had a great time at the comp. The courses were tuff and broke a few of us. We ran 4 courses in each class.

Had a great time guys, cant belive I got a win.:shock: My rig was working great. The fake rocks that Ricky made were a blast to drive on too. I am ready to go back already lol. Liked the pics too.
