Now that the UTRCRC CC-01 Scale Adventure is over its time for a project I've been wanting to do. I picked up a Kamtec Bowler Wildcat a couple of months ago.

For those of you that don't know what a Bowler Wildcat is then here you go

I'm planning on throwing in a 50t Handwound motor in with a 3s Maxamps 1800 30c Lipo. That should give it some good kick but still be crawlable. With the new FXR update it should have good enough start up as well

I had to stretch the wheelbase to 10 3/32" but I just used some L channel for that

That is a cool body like the indentations on the doors. Killer wheels too."thumbsup"

I'm hoping to, it depends on how things fit there.

I agree, I really like the body details. The wheels are Create A Crawler

I threw in the 50t handwound and it was an absolute blast and it looked so real:mrgreen: With the 3s you could jump but still crawl pretty well. I had a stupid grin on my face the whole time:)

Any new details on the Bowler? Have you had a chance to paint it yet?

Sadly, not yet. It might not be until this weekend.

Not much of an update but I got the windows cut out today. It's all washed up, ready to paint but I didn't have the right paint at home.

Not to that extent but slightly yes. I want to mount the rear tires but I'm going to have to hack up the chassis a bunch to do it. I just don't know.

Paint is done. I like it, I don't love the paint but I do like it. I have a few plans for it but I have a couple rigs that need work before this gets more.

That truck is sweet! Looks like the 55t and the 3s is a heck of a good combo for torque and wheelspeed. Snappy lil sucker, wow.

You know its funny that this popped up. I just got the Bowler shell ordered and I am going to actually build the chassis and frame work as I have all the diagrams for a crawler version of this. I figured i would build it and then post it once its done. Planning on running that at next years MSD's

I think I paid 440.00 for the whole deal. But I got the all plastic body and not the lexan one, Just gotta cut out the windows and add lexan. I honestly dont think they have the lexan anymore.
