Anyone planning on attending the 4 wheel Jamboree this year at Indy? either as a spectator or participant? I'll be there with my Jeep as a participant. Last year I noticed someone with a 2.2 crawler but I didnt have mine with me. Id be interested in taking mine up with me if anyone else is planning on taking theres. Post up if ya are

I'll be there with my pickup . But I prolly wont bring my crawler, not enough places to screw around with em there and normally I spend most of my time driving around anyways.
I wasnt sure if anyone had took them out to the rock garden for the 1:1 or not

I'll be there. Are you BajaXJ on NAXJA? I just ordered a CC today. I'll toss it in the back of the Jeep I plan on paying the 80 bucks so i can drive around instead of walking the WHOLE TIME.

in previous years i ave seen a lot of r/c a the jamboree. mostly monster trucks though becasue of the races they usally have. but it would be nice to have some kind of rc crawl event tough

I Go there every year...and have taken my RC 's to play around with....mainly take my 6x6 and pull a wagon around with it...gets alot of attention!! Years ago we used to race RC Monster trucks there,that was a good time....I had thought of the idea this year to make a few phone calls and maybe see about hosting an RC Crawl/ or Scale event there this year..but just have'nt had the ambition to do so...I do have the connections to get this done though...but Wasn't sure of any location there at the fairgrounds to do so...they might be willing to bring the rocks though? Afterall they haul them in for the REAL crawlers....if they have them again?

I crawled 1:1 at the Jamboree from 2004-2007 and the rocks they have there would be more than adequate for a RC crawl. It would all depend on their schedule and how many participants they have each day.

Well guys, with next weekend coming up. We really ought to really figure out when we are gonna meet up to crawl. I'll be around on friday saturday and the morning on Sunday. I've got a comp back up in Ft Wayne to go to on Sunday morning so I won't be staying long.

Its wednesday night. If you guys dont get a time and a place organized by tomorrow night mine will be luggage left behind....

That would work just fine if they were having 1:1 this year. For some unknown to me reason they arnt having rock crawls this year. They seem to think the lawn mower racing will draw more of a crowd I suppose. I'll have my laptop so Ill take my stuff and maybe we can get something together by sunday. BTW 4wheel parts is still having their after party where they have rock crawls. Im not sure if its friday or saturday but its from 5:30 to midnight, maybe it would be better to get something organized there?

me and beest crawled tere monday night it was too bad but wasn't great with the lighting. the put some new rocks in that are still drity. that sucks that they aren't having rockcrawl at the jamboree. alot neater then lawn mower racing. if it was lawn mower pulling that be alright.
Im still not sure how lawn mower racing is even remotely related to anything offroad. Especially when compared to rock crawling

Well, just wondering how things went over at 4WD parts, I never got to go there. our plans changed and we left the fairgrounds and went back downtown and partied AGAIN! TBex, I saw your Cherokee, SWEETASS ride dude!! I seen it parked in the center island by the vendors booths. I only seen 1 guy there with a crawler, Actually it was a little kid running around with an axial crawler and there were a couple of others parked on a lightpole base by the grandstands.
Thanks man, I had mine at my room, just didnt feel like packing it around until I found the rest of you guys. At four wheel parts I only seen some kids with the traxxas crawler..the kids at the Jamboree with the crawler was CJ7's, it was nice meetin ya CJ. I had it with me sunday but I never seen anywhere to crawler so I didnt bother getting mine out. Anyone snap any pix at the Jamboree? It was a good time like aways, alot of awesome trucks, alot of not so awesome trucks that should have stayed parked in the garage covered up to keep the paint all nice and shiny

that was mine and my son's you seen on the light pole.
my boy trash out two of them by late sat. maybe next
year we can have a comp a lot of people got a kick watch
my son play. he had a ball . had a great time any way

try and find a rc club to host or a hobby shop to put one on.
i will talk to rough country maybe thay will help out i think
this would be great. i was also talking to mike green of pitbull tires
thay are going to make some pitbull tires in 2.2 may see if he
will help put one on.
I think it would be cool having a comp for them at the Jamboree. It would get alot of publicity. I got mine out of the bag for about 5 minutes and I had 3 people talk it over

Well, Maybe someone could talk to Aaron over at the Rox Box. He would be a person to help get something like this together.
It would be a great idea to do something like this. Maybe even have a vendors booth setup with a small course so people can try it out with some demo crawlers.

Vendor Booth is exactly what I was thinking with a demo course. I think a weekend point series would be cool but may be a bit overboard, i dont know how you guys would feel about it but I think have a comp like ex. rox box on the friday, do one at 4 Wheel Parts party on the saturday night and then round it off sunday at the jamboree. But with that said there wouldnt be but a few people that would be interested in doing something like that since not everyone would want to spend the weekend for it
