I am looking at doing another chassis and wanted to hear some opinions on the fubar skeeter vs. the cdw lt2. The chassis look very similar and just not sure which one I am more leaning towards. Thanks

i will say go with the Fubar chassis because i have seen them, built them and ran them and i will say that they are tough and have a low cg!

I have never ran the CDW so I cant say....but I run a fubar skeeter on my bully comp rig and it works REALLY well. it's taken one hell of a beating too.

Ok cool, do you guys know what size shock to run on the fubar?

well...I'm running 3.5" shocks on mine...4" was kinda long...but if you like the shocks laid down you could probably make the 4" shocks works for you.

I like my rig pretty low (2.50"-2.75") so if you like higher clearance for your area 4" may be just right?

Ok cool. Thanks for the info. Also I noticed on one of your threads that you drilled out the knuckle to run a 4mm bolt. Were you able to still use the brass bushings or did you just go without to finish the comp up? I have been having problems with mine as well. They keep coming loose and I have been using red loctite. Also the knuckles seem to be a little to sloppy anyways. I emailed RC4WD about this and I never heard back from them. The brass bushings could fit better in the housing in my opinion and a little tighter over the bolt as well.

I still can NOT find a way to stop those knuckle bolts from coming lose...red or blue thread loc ...sitting over night...mine seem to come loose no matter what...
I just try to keep them snug so it does not beat up the threads...:|

Ok good to know. So I guess it prob won't matter on uping the size of the bolt. I figured maybe changing to a standard bolt size or something with a finer thread to get a better hold.
