This should be an interesting build. Whats the WB on that body?

Quick Update
I was able to get the front diff locked with 4 gears over the 3 gear setup not sure if it makes a big deal or not but it looks good "thumbsup"

OK final cut has been done now just need to find a way to mount the front bumper.
The tabs on the bumper hit the chassis I was thinking of just cutting them off then gluing the bumper to the chassis but don't know if that would hold good enough???

that looks good. you'll need Shoe Goo or something as the tenax/plastruct doesnt bond well with the plastic of the chassis.

You could have done that with just the 3 spider gears side by side. The one by itself is wasted.

Not really wasted, the kit comes with 3 spares if you use the rear locker. so its just pointless, not wasted. Though it will help if you run a fast motor, it will help it be a little better balanced, but who in their right minds wants a fast trail truck? Anything faster then a brisk walk to a steady jog is not really a worthy trail truck, but an accident waiting to happen.

With only the three gears the large bevel gear has more side/rocking play so the forth just keeps everything in place for a better fit plus the extra weight helps lowers the COG

Thanks I should have more pic's later today "thumbsup"
im anxious to see how much benefit you get from relocating the battery.
im afraid that the higher COG might counter balance the forward shift.
i hope it works.

A few more pic's
I had to change the battery setup for the ESC would not fit under the back part of the body this body sits really low on the CC01 chassis.
I used the stock rear mounts for the fronts and made some post for the rear.
Just waiting for a few other parts and it should be done by next week "thumbsup"

No problem!
Nice work on the tires! Damn good for a first try. Sure, I make it look easy but its not at first, but with a little practice it is easy. Glad you took the plunge.

I couldnt agree more with the last post. Cool you took the plunge on cutting some tires down!
I was asked at the last comp if anyone had done this H1 as a scaler. I will have to mention this thread to him in an email. Thanks for sharing!
