I'm using a xxx buggy trans, you just lock up the ball diff w/ J.B. weld or you can drill through both outdrives ( the disc shaped part) and put some type of pin through the whole diff gear assy. then I used traxxas Jato axles cut the threaded end off where the smooth part starts put the drive pin in the axle w/ a little C.A. to hold it then push the metal end of the shaft into the outdrive cup with hot glue( do this part fast) then when id hardens trim of any that squished out and your golden!

The pede tranny is going to be your easiest more reliable bet as far as throwing it in and go...The losi and ae advantage is size and weight...Go with pede alot less work...Unless your into that??

K9 is right the pede is easier to swap cuz the drive shafts for the pede fit right on (duh!) and the axle end is easy to mod. Most people will recommend the steel u-joints fort the pede shaft others say not needed. Both require a little thought on how to install them, I've seen others stand the pede upright and still use stock chassis plates. If you plane on the tuber than you can lay it down so the motor is as close to the bottom as it can be and that will lower your center of gravity aka(cg) the lower the better. Hope this helps you out. Try to read buildup threads of others and look at the ideas people use. It worked for me!
