Excellent everyone! Sounding like we'll have a bigger crew than expected!

Don't forget your $2 to get to the top! Sometimes if you're there earlier you get up for free, but I like to help the park out!

Gates open at 10 (sometimes a bit early). I'll be swinging by next week just to make sure the mountain is open and what time they're open till? As the season goes on, they close earlier and earlier.

The earliest they close is 4pm.

Bring stuff for trade or sell too!

Looking good for this Saturday!! I went to the top today just to make sure all is okay. Park opens at 10am, $2 parking fee.

Drive SLOWLY to the top!!! It's a narrow twisty road that is traveled by many walkers, so tread slowly. And don't bring the big quad cab 4x4 PU if you can help it!!

Plan to bring: Lunch, bug spray, a hat. Xtra batteries. no power. no Nitro!!

I am, and Chris and his friend will be there. I imagine Robbob would also shoot for 10. It can get busy in the afternoon, so get there at 10 to make sure you get a decent parking space. I bring my little radio flyer wagon sometimes if I have alot of stuff to cart.

John brings up many good points.., Bring extra batterys ( for BOTH cameras and trucks) , stuff to trade/sell, and if your planning on bringing a bunch of trucks, bring a lil Red Wagon because the crawler spots are a small walk from the parking lot. ( I'm going out to buy one tonight :ror:) Will see everyone there at ten.. ( will meet up with you earlier John.."thumbsup")

Okay Everyone!! Here's what I'd like to do. Let's do this again one more time before it's too cold!!

First, the park closes the gates for the season around the 24th or 27th of October :sad:this year (ranger wasn't sure), so that limits our time (and I don't know if anyone is ambitious enough to hike to the top with a bunch of RC gear..., not me anyway)

So this limits us with dates to do it again this year! I'm thinking Oct 10th, 11th, 17th, or 18th are the only chances. So vote for a day, and we'll see if there is enough interest.

I'd also like to make sure we are a little more organized:roll: not a club thing, but we could have the swap meet first, then make sure we get pictures of all the vehicles and who's they were (first names) so we can post them up!! Then organize a huge follow the leader trail ride with everyone! I missed alot of those on Saturday! maybe have a volunteer to stick around our stuff.

I know, I wish everyone could be there again, but the park will be closing the week after the 17th, so I think the 17th & 18th are the last weekend the road will be open. They could give me a specific, but I'd hate to plan that weekend and have it be closed.
