What date do you guys want to try to have the next comp on? I know I have to work this coming Wednesday, so that is out. When you guys decide, I will try to make it happen. I will also be gone for the Crawlapalooza comp.

I have already made plans to go to the Indiana state championships on Oct 3 can you guys work around that.We need to have one on the island over in ohatchee,that would be the funnest comp we could possibly have but we need to do it before it gets cold.And we may have to have someone who does not mind shuttling people to the bathroom every once and a while

Thats the problem.....we never know now. It was supposed to be "casting every other weekend". We worked 7 days last week. Now they just posted today that there casting this Saturday. :-( I was going to try to make larry's comp so I could practice a little.....not going to happen now.

I actually agree with James kind-of sortta. But the unfortunate fact is that I cant blame guys for wanting to go out to the big comps where you stand a chance at picking up a check. (except the "palooza" it sounds like so much fun I would go regardless.... if I had the time) Untill we can pick-up some sponsors will to help with some "big" comps around here we are kind of stuck with what we've got.

come on guys I have begged pleaded stuck my neck out to get crawls from B-ROC and ALRC and get a firm schedule between the 2. Fact is there usually isnt enough days in a month to suit everybodys schedules. I closed my Hot Rod shop due to traveling for work and I still have unfinished cars sitting waiting on me to fix them. I put all my other Hobbies on hold so I can concentrate on crawling, putting comps in the air, helping judge, running errands and whatever Jeff and Larry need me to do. It gets real dissappointing to get 20-25 people signed up and only 9 or 10 show up. jeff does a fine job with his comps and trys to accomodate everyone when he can, AND HE DOES THIS BY HIMSELF with a few volunteers for judges. Larry and Shag put on a great show also.

My point is the comps are out there with usually plenty of notification for everyone to get their sh-t together and participate. Some folks are more dedicated than others and should not be bitched at because they want to go to bigger comps and compete at a higher level. Some folks do what they have to and others do what they want to. And any of you guys can put a GTG/comp anytime. Not picking on any one person but lets be considerate of those who do make it happen.:twisted:

No one will ever please a bunch of grown men who play with toy trucks. rock crawler and wire man ( aka jeff and larry ) are just too nice , you guys are killing your self. Hbj ,playswith trucks and biscuit are all helping to bring out more rocks here . We have close to as many lines here now as there is at ohatchee. (the lines will cross here more often though) maybee a few more trips to the rock garden will can hold some comps here as well. The hold so far is tring to get some of the big suckers,we need about four very large rocks then the rest will be easy to do.

A MEN Joe . Like he said 20 to 25 peeps sign up but only 6 to 10 show up. We understand when things come up that's unavoidable not everyone can show on said date. But we have been comp'in with the same guy's time after time. We have put up GTG's with the same 4 to 6 guy's showing each time. Soooo just start showing up! For a points comp there has to be at least 10 peeps to show( I think I'm right on this, could be wrong). We need your support ( whom ever this may be ) to keep these things going and to get bigger. We go to out of state comps because they are fun, educational and we compete with guys other than ourselves. I am not picking on any one person here so don't get your feelings hurt:lol::flipoff:. now that's what I am talkin' bout. what we need to do is get together on this and not be a whole bunch of individuals. I know that we can get the sponsorship if we ask. we have the world champion, the 4th in the worlds and a bunch of guys who would have placed high had they went.

I can say this, I won't make every comp though, but I will help all I can. I am pretty sure most of us are married and have kids. and most of us work, so I know that things are gonna come up where we all can't be at all of the comps. but we can put them together and whomever can make it will show. we can do it as a team or we will fail if we are not.

btw, I am not saying to combine B-ROC and ALRC. I think it would be detremental to both. if N E 1 is up for it we can have a GTG to discuss it (no comp). I will get food for it and we can grill or something if ya want.

I also think we should work together to help those of us in the state to be better drivers. AL should be the best, period. from top to bottom we should be able to go to N E comp and sweep the podium. total domination.
