I was looking for some license plate frames for my scaler, checked around, and it seems that these are not being made (the only person who was making something similar doesn't seem to be doing so any more), so I had my laser cutter make a couple. Thought others might be interested too.

A couple more pics mounted on my Blazer (sorry for the out of focus close-up on the plate frame).

The above is the prototype and the design will change slightly for the final. For example, the corners will be radiused and the plate a bit thinner. I'll post pics once I have the final pieces on hand.
Frame has been designed to fit Krawler Konceptz license plates and uses 2mm hardware (not included). This is laser cut stainless steel, so no problems with getting it wet and having it rust.
Price would be $5 shipped anywhere in the US or Canada. Overseas PM me for a price. Discount pricing on orders of 4 or more, PM me for details.

About the best I can do for now:

The prototypes are 2mm thick. I'll be making the final version 1.5mm thick to be a little more scale. 1mm is just too thin/flimsy.
Once I have the final ones in my hands, will post up more pics then.

Just put in the order with the laser cutter this morning. Generally, they have my parts ready by the end of the week, so I should be able to start shipping on the weekend or early next week at the latest.
Thanks for making the frames fit our plates."thumbsup"
Not a problem. High quality plates deserve a bit of bling "thumbsup"

I think the mounting holes need to me more scale.....possibly M2 at the biggest. Would be nice to have it small enough for some 0-80 screws.

The mounting holes are M2. Are the 0-80 screws commonly available for most people? If so, I'll have to look at that option for the next batch, depending on strength.

MCMaster has them readily available. The longest they have is 1/4". I' sure that'll be long enough.
Pack of 50 for $8. http://www.mcmaster.com/#92949a054/=45vjc2.
Nuts are 100 for $4.50. http://www.mcmaster.com/#hex-nuts/=45vk0y
You could might look into including a set of 4 bolts/nuts with these plates, if you went that route.
Doesn't matter, they still are some good looking plates.

Note that these have been radiused in the corners, and are a bit thinner (~1.5mm). Mounting holes are 2mm in diameter. You should be able to use either M2 hardware or 0-80 to secure these.
Pricing is as follows:
$4 for the first one, $3 for each additional one.
These are shipped prices to the US or Canada. International will be a little more.
Thanks!

Mcmaster also sells 0-80 button head cap screws.I think the hex just looks better than a slotted screw.
Here's the link for 3/16" long

Yeah, you might be right with that one Pyro, but at the size, I dont think anyone will even notice the slot. It's nice to be able to screw it in with your thumbnail as well.

BTW, the license plate bolts on all of my 1:1 vehicles are flat slotted."thumbsup"

Looking at doing another run of these. If you're interested, post up so I have a better idea how many to have the laser cutter do up (no committment to buy, just gives me a better guesstimate!).
