I got hooked on the tamiya XC train a few months ago...

They don't rock crawl nearly as well as my bulu rubicon did, but for a scale trail rig they are the cats a$$. With the diffs locked and a lathe motor they are quite capable. Frequent use of the winch also helps.

I'm up to four... a Pajero XB, a touareg with a shortened clod body, a wrangler, and a nib Pajero Metalto Wide.

Here's a couple pics.

Just got a F150 myself. Are you running the stock shocks on the one with the Clod body? I am trying to figure out how long of a shock I can run. I like the small tire rigs.

More pics of the wrangler?

I love the wrangler xc trucks. they look so real!

Nice rigs BTW!

The front shocks on the chevy are some 3 1/2in aluminum shocks I had kicking around. No idea what they came off of. I had to mod the chassis tub a bit to get them to fit. Combining that with some trimming of the lower control arms and hub carriers gained a bunch more droop to the suspension. The isn't any room to gain up travel, so down is the only way to go.

I love hitting the trails with my jero. It's locked F/R, lathe motor and running cut stock TLT tiers on narrowd rims. It's a blast to drive and hill climbs very well.

Yep...

And when in doubt, winch it out.
