Since a few people requested some pictures of my exo caged Bruiser, I thought I would post them for you all to see. It's mostly a "poser" truck at this point because I haven't gotten the suspension dialed in, but it's off to a decent start. It doesn't look like to much at this point, but it still features some cool ideas, such as the fact that the exo cage is tied into the frame and the functioning beadlock wheels. Also note the Dave Engle single speed transmission and Dave Engle internal axles for added strength. In the next week or two I will also be posting my exo caged crew cab dovetailed Juggernaut bodied 4-linked Bruiser crawler and my exotic competition Bruiser crawler using all custom running gear/4-link etc.

Man, that is some KILLER tube work!

Any way to lower the body down on the frame? Looks like it has a 10" body lift.

I don't think so, cause his battery is there. He would have to take the exo and stuff off everytime he changed the battery. Not a bad looking truck. I just don't care too much for the front half of the truck. Could have followed the body lines better

I agree, but it is still some phenomenal craftsmanship! I really like how you went in and painted the dash. That right there is quality. If it does end up on the rocks, I might suggest a skid or something for that tranny; it seems to hang down a bit.

Nice work, but I do have one question.

How ya gonna get the hood open? I know it's a Toyota, so the question probably never came up, but it's something to think about

I asked the same question post 19!

You at least have to change the oil, even if it will run forever.
