This is my new project, I started. It is project EXILE. I like the way the juggernaut has the full fram chassis and like the overall look of the juggy, so I built an aluminum frame by mixing design from the mad force and the jugg. The thing about the clod though is the low center of gravity with the gearboxes down low, also there are less moving parts on the clod. So I am going to do a trade off with the weight issue. I will try running a single cell up front crawling and add a another stick pack for bashing,(SEE MY POST MOTOR TURNS) it explains better.
I built the chassis with aluminum hand bent and aluminum rivots, then polished it to a chrome like finish. There are 5 pieces of plexiglass on top 2 for each battery and a single for the electrics. All the crossbraces and rod links are carbon fiber. The chassis is 15.5" long. This will take some time to complete but this is EXILE's first post. I would like to see her with black shocks and some beadlocks. We'll see. Hope you like it.

Actually someones alread done that. Somene had stacks that could shoot flames from the hood, by remote. I don't have the issue anymore, but ask around someone may have a link to that thing. Think it was a usa-1 cant remember.

Lookin' good! That flamethrower truck was done by Kevin Hetmanski of RCCA I believe. I think it was a clod because it had those JPS alu tranny cases. I have the article, so I'll try to find it. Beadlocks coming up! :)

Nice work on the chassis skoolbus, looks like good quality work 8) . I am a fan of the full length frames myself. What are your links made from?

THanks Destroyer/Grizzly, I think that a full chassis will be strong enough to bash around with 7-17volts. The links and crossbracing are carbon fiber. Very srong stuff, wont bend like aluminum and is super lightweight.

As some projects do...EXILE was sold.......
And a differerent design became SKINSLIP. This post is toast
