...I was all set to go up until I reversed the polarity on my transmitter battery. Got that funky burning plastic smell with a hissing noise :x So now I am $250 in the hole and I havent even left yet :x :x
Just goes to show, dont rush electronics installs  I think I'll glue that toasted spektrum unit right in front of the soldering iron stand so I'll see it every time I plug it in

Man, I'm just going to have to start calling you Floyd Jr. ;)

Did you decide to just order new axles? If you want a new dogbone, let me know since I've got some. After that grinding yesterday, it wouldn't suprised me if that's what made it break.

Someone should try some of the waterproof spray on sunblock. I was going to do it yesterday, but we were running through sand and it would have gummed up a lot. That stuff is really really sticky though.

I'm getting a little nervous everyday that counts down,My buddy was like "Dude you need to get some R/D time on that rig before you leave"We had our last comp this Sunday and I broke for the 4th time this month.I snapped the axle spline.I'm refurbishing the tranny I got in a trade just to make sure nothing is on the point of breaking.:x

I just drove the 2.2 for the first time yesterday.
The super is a roller but needs a body and electronics.

I still need to order some spare parts like TLT shafts, knuckles, and at least one servo.

I don't think there is any chance of getting the scale truck done for Sunday.

I've been working on crawlers every night after work for the past 3 weeks unitl 1 or 2 am and as much as I can on the weekends and somehow I need some time to do testing and tuning. I feel your pain.

I hear ya ColquittCustom405. I am trying to wrap stuff up at work, my wife's business, and sending products out the door. I haven't had time to touch mine yet and it is in world of pain. However, I tend to have time to beat on it for some reason.

Grizzly4x4 - we live parallel lives my friend. I hope I don't do what I do at all our Nor-Cal events which is stay up till 4 in the morning the day of the event, sleep for an hour or two, then turn it on for the first time when it is my turn to run. It would be nice for once to have confidence when turning on that transmitter the first time ;-)

I need to finish one of the scale rigs which doesn't have a finished frame yet, no body, need to build the wheel/tire combo, put the drive line together...

Build my Super comp rig and paint a body.

Ralph needs a new ring and pinion.

Scorpion needs a new window installed in the reservoir and new hydraulic fluid.

Need to get the ceiling, overhead lights, and plumbing finished in the Crawler Hauler.

Too much crap to do.
