I think I was the only person to take out both gate markers on the FIRST gate...at the same time.

The math told me all I had to do was start the course to win. ;)

A big thanks to all the sponsors!! 8)

Jason, Badger and Bastard did an awesome job organizing this event. Everything ran very smooth, and finished earlier then expected. The courses were brutal, and gave many people a hard time.

I look forward to next year, and will expect an even bigger turnout.

No doubt! Defenetely the best comp I've been to.

Also wanted to give a shout out to all the judges. Stellar job. I thought there would be some situations come up but this comp went super smooth. I think the marshalls setup was excellent too.

Props to Bastard for some crazy courses. The pool of electronics death had me worried on course 3  (RIP Sheldon's Tekins)

CSR turned in a stellar run on the finals course. I think the only guy to clear the ledge?

Great to meet all you guys from the great beyond. And thanks again everyone for a great weekend!

I was very impressed with how well organized it was! Great job.

Was that actually a compliment? Damn... you guys must have done things right. ;-)

Seriously, from all of us out in Nor-Cal, we had a great time. None of us finished super well, but just being invited to the event was payoff enough.

The event was well run. Very smooth and clean. Aaron, Jason, John, and host of so many others in charge of making it smooth, I tip my hat to you guys. Very professional.

The judges who volunteered to do the duties did a great job. It was a fun event and nobody really whined about judgment calls which makes it so much more enjoyable.

After a brisk 16 hour drive home and an hour of sleep, I am amazingly chipper still and thinking back to how much fun I had. Thanks team Nor-Cal for the interesting, yet entertaining weekend. Some of my favorites for the weekend were the goat in our Condo, “This one time in rehab….”, car windows racing down during a flatulence moment, Mikey returning a bun at BK for chipping his tooth, and so much more. Damn… I am still dieing over here.

Thanks again.

Just made it home an hour ago. 1260 miles each way and WELL worth it. What a blast. Thanks and congradulations to Jason, Bastard, Badger and all who had a hand in making this One successful and great event.
Congratulations to JIA and Bender on their 1st place finishes, and to all who competed and helped make this event what it was.
It was also nice to meet everyone and be able to put names to faces, what a great bunch of guys.
As was stated before, very very hard courses.
I went out for a fun time and definately had One. I was also hoping to place in the top 10 and I finsihed 7th in the Super class and was plenty happy with that considering the courses and the competition. 2.2 I got torn up in, (Badger has some carnage pic's of that) but had a blast anyway.
Looking very much forward to the 2007 Nationals and getting to see and run with all you guys again.

2,570 miles round trip, and a total of 64 hours on the road (8 hours sleeping in the truck)... this event was well worth every moment of the trip!!! As everyone else has already mentioned, this event was top-notch. Well planned, organized, the way questions were handled imediately with marshals, everything said Nationals Quality!

Congrats to JIA and Bender, well deserved win for both. B.T.W. if the math said that JIA only had to start the course, you probably could have had a few more drinks the night before;-)

I really am glad I was invited and was able to meet so many of you and put faces to names, now I can picture who I'm telling to :flipoff:. And Fishy, I'm changing my user title just for you8)

It's alright. We had about 100 miles in fuel to burn before returning the rental. We cruised SLC for about 2-3 hours going from Wal-Mart to Wal-Mart. We never would have found it if Hackster didn't have his laptop GPS setup....that thing saved our asses more than once on the trip!
